Buying Cars and Flipping Them For a Profit.

Updated on June 13, 2014

How To Buy and Sell.

Hi im writing this article to share my knowledge of buying and selling cars for a substantial profit. I had been buying and selling cars for years but unfortunitly i stopped due to recession hitting my country bad. But in the last year or so i ve started again and i have to tell ya its great to back at it as i ve missed it. Im the type of person who like assets and if i have cars in my yard i feel great as there mine if only for just a little while but still mine. In this article im gonna try go through simple steps that worked for me in the past and are still working. If you go into this small business or if your like me and its more of a hobby you will wreap the profits if its done right. im going to share with you some of my tactic and maybe a few links to books that can help you as they did me.

Finding The Right Car

The first thing you need to do is find the right car at the right price. In my experience its best to check the market properly to see what cars are making money and what cars are not. I usually go for the cars that have slight problems which isnt a problem for me as im a Mechanic. Cars with no MOT/NCT go for cheaper and they might not have many problems wrong with them at all so these are good targets.

The internet today is a good source for finding your cars, there is 100s of sites out there now. Even with the internet i still go the old fashioned way with classifieds and if you see a car in someones yard that looks forgotten its worth the ask you never know.

Choose Your Market

Chosen your market means chosen what sort of cars you want to sell. I started off selling modified cars at a young age and made a fortune at it. Since i started back up i ve only sold standard cars which has been good to my pocket to. When i sell a car i always make over double money its easy i ve read book after book to learn how. I sold one car last week for €1050 which was good profit for me as i only paid €300 and spent €100 making it road worthy. Thats €650 profit and thats only because i chose the right market. I knew when i bought that car there was a market for it and i would have no problem flipping it. Research is the key, if you jump in to buy a car with out research you could be out of pocket and stuck with the car aswell.

Researching Buying and Selling Tips.

When i started off at this i jumped in with my two feet forward and made no profit.I was buying cars that people wanted but i was paying to much for them. This meant that when i tried selling it i made no profit, maybe around €80-€110 profit which wasnt worth my time. Then i started buying books and reading up about the tips and secrets of the trade and by did they work. After reading 3-4 books i was away with it i stopped the habbits that wee losing me money and i learned a few haggling tricks for buying and selling. with in a few months i was making double with my profits. Its as easy as pie when you know how so i would recommend buying a few books. You can buy these books from ebay, amazon and loads of other places online its well worth it.

Books I used

For you who are interested in reading some of these books you can find them with the links i ve provided below just check them out for yourself and see what you think and maybe leave some feedback and tell me if they work. I think Amazon and Ebay is the best source for these and i have provided links to the books i read below and found the best. And there only cheap to buy anbd a great read.
