To carlash or not to carlash?

A car with eyelashes? We were totally tickled at the sight of this car in a public parking lot. As you can see, this car owner loves her car and enjoys making it girly. Note the pink and white color combination hues (including pink rims), and the flower and heart on the back windows. Plus, there is a tiny flower just beneath the front window. So this car owner probably had her mind made up when she added the carlashes.

This made me google carlashes and I discovered how easy they are to apply. They are made of flexible material so you can “curl” the eyelashes in the manner that suits your taste. Some carlashes add crystal eyeliner.

The carlashes are attached with strong 3 M tape that doesn’t chemically affect your car. If attached properly, don’t wash your car for 24 hours. After that, there should be no problem at all.

I have put together my personal list of benefits that can be gained from the use of carlashes. They are:

· Your father won’t borrow your car.

· Your brother won’t borrow your car.

· Your sister might be too embarrassed to borrow your car.

· Car thieves will not want to steal your car – it would be too obvious.

· No one will want to rob anything inside your car. It would be too obvious.

· If you enjoy them sincerely, that is a good thing and you will feel great every time you go out in your car.

· Chances are, someone will take a photo of your car and you will see it on Hub pages, like this car I saw in the parking lot.

· While not everybody will agree with carlashes on their cars, seeing carlashes on yours will certainly make people smile. So your car will be a doer of good deeds for others, and will bring them happiness.

· The children will be drawn to it.

· When you are tired of it, you can easily peel them off without damaging your car.

Besarian, don't you agree the beetle has a character all its own that has yet to be replicated? Thank you for visiting:)

I think your car is adorable! I used to own a green one (original kind not the newer bugs.) I never put lashes on it but thought of it as my little green turtle. I gave it to one of my nephews when he was going off to college. He still owns it now ten years later. They just never quit if you look after them.

      Lady Wolfe,

Those are good points. They do break ice as a conversation piece. Personally, I would be embarrassed to use this car even if I am a lady. So for me, the main benefit would be that no one would use your car and it would be ALL YOURS. A smart owner would leave the carlashes on, drive around the block, remove them, then when they park at the office replace them so that nobody steals them, and so on:)

The cars certainly are girly and will keep men from wanting to borrow them. Definitely makes for good conversation and the carlashes are really cute.

      McCartney Kay,

I'm glad you have gotten good feedback from your carlashes. I think they are fun, but I don't know if a lot of guys would want them on their cars -- or some girls, either. But as I said in this article, they do have some definite benefits and advantages:)

Actually it quite the opposite osa! Until you find out for yourself, people have found that they received more conversation and smiles with their Carlashes. Not one goes by without asking, where do I get some for my car! Never a report of anyone saying a negative comment other than those that hide behind a computer because of lack of ambition to associate in public!

There is no need to curl the lashes if you get the original Carlashes™ from the inventors, Turbo Style Products or a authorized distributor! Don't settle for cheap knock offs that break, fall off or even melt onto your headlights. For more info, see us at or email at

Cel, girly cars are fun. I wanted a pink car, but my hubby refused to give me one because he said he would never drive it:(

Osa Agbonlahor, lol! Yes, over protectiveness of the sanctity of one's carlashes can lead to sensitivity to criticisms over the no. of lashes per eye. Maybe I should have anticipated your points and added a couple more bullets to the piece:)

It's a good idea if you hate the thought of people talking to you and/or NOT thinking you're a few lashes short of an eye.
