Air India, Jet Konnect, Spicejet, Vistara, Indigo, Air Asia India are some of the airline with whom airport has made alliance. One can travel to the airport through Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. It serves Panchkula, Mohali, States of Punjab, Haryana and districts of Himachal.
The Union territory of Chandigarh has airport runway while the on the south side of the runway in Jhiurheri village Mohali Punjab is the international terminal. The upgrade in the runway was done from 2017-2019 and the repair was completed on April 2019. The runway is an area of 12400 feet with 10400 feet of take-off length. The airport is now available for 24*7 hours with CAT IIB ILS. The airport remains closed on every second and fourth Saturday for repairs. On October 5th October 2019, the first night flight was launched by GoAir.
