Dream Cars of 2015-16

1) Ferrari 488 GTB

The Ferrari 488 GTB is a mid-engined sports car produced by the Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari. It was launched on 3 February 2015, in advance of its world première at the March 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The 488 GTB is a heavily re-engineered replacement for the Ferrari 458, sharing several design features and chassis measurements.

It is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8. The engine produces 670 PS (493 kW; 661 hp) at 8000 rpm and 760 N·m (561 lb·ft) of torque at 3000 rpm. The only available transmission for the 488 is an automatic dual-clutch 7-speed F1 gearbox. Performance of the 488 is 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.0 seconds, 0–200 km/h (120 mph) in 8.3 seconds, covering the quarter mile in 10.45 seconds and continuing to a top speed in excess of 330 km/h (205 mph). The Ferrari 488 GTB comes in $469,888.

2) Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce

Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce was announced in March 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show. Representing the essence of Lamborghini's brand it features an upgraded power train, with maximum horsepower increased to 559 kW (750 bhp) from the standard coupé's 522 kW (700 bhp).

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce goes from zero to 62 miles-per-hour in less time than it takes most people to utter the car’s name. (That’s 2.8 seconds). With the theoretical top speed still "somewhere in excess" of 349 km/h (217 mph). Delivery of the car is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2015. The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is priced at $493,069.

3) Ford GT

At the 2015 North American International Auto Show, a new Ford GT was introduced and is set to be produced and released in 2016. The car is to be powered by a newly designed 3.5 litre twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine making "more than 600 horsepower". A 0-60 mph time of around 3 seconds is expected as well as a top speed greater than 200 mph. According to Ford, "the GT will exhibit one of the best power-to-weight ratios of any production car," thanks to its lightweight carbon fiber construction. Underpinning the GT is a carbon fiber monocoque bolted to aluminum front and rear subframes covered in carbon fiber body panels. The car also has racing inspired pushrod suspension, active aerodynamics, and dihedral doors.

Ford plans to build only 250 examples of the GT over the course of several years, with each costing around $400,000.

4) Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Hybrid

Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Hybrid is a super car concept by Bentley launched in 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Bentley EXP 10 is two seat coupe smaller than the existing Bentley Continental GT. It is fitted with a V6 but the production version of the concept is expected within three years and will be fitted with the 500 bhp 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 from the Continental GT. The expected price of the model is $200,000.

5) McLaren 675LT

The McLaren 675LT (where "LT" stands for Long tail) is a lightweight, track-focused evolution of the McLaren 650S. It was announced in February 2015 and introduced at the Geneva Motor Show 2015.

The car is powered by a variation of the M838T 3,799cc twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, producing 675 PS (496 kW; 666 hp) at 7100 rpm and 516 lb·ft (700 N·m) at 5500 rpm. This is achieved through the addition of new lightweight connecting rods, bespoke camshaft, a electronic recirculation valve and a lightweight titanium exhaust. The 675LT uses the seven-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox used in the 650S, with improved software reducing the shift time.

The 675LT can accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and 0–200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 7.9 seconds, continuing to a claimed top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). Only 500 will be made starting in July for a list price of $394,500.

6) Maserati Alfieri

Maserati Alfieri is a concept car from the Italian car manufacturer Maserati that was first shown at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but has since been confirmed for production.

The Alfieri was confirmed for production in 2016 at a Fiat Chrysler event on May 6, 2014. The production version will receive three different V6 engine choices, producing 410 bhp (306 kW; 416 PS), 450 bhp (336 kW; 456 PS), and 520 bhp (388 kW; 527 PS).The 450-horsepower and 520-horsepower versions will only have an all-wheel drive system. The Alfieri will be joined by an Alfieri convertible in 2017. Maserati Alfieri comes at a starting price around $130,000.

7) Nissan GT-R 45th Anniversary Edition

In celebration of the GT-R's 45th anniversary in 2016, Nissan adds one more model to the coupe's trifecta of Premium, Black Edition, and NISMO models with this shimmering design. While the 2016 Anniversary Edition boasts the same hand-assembled twin-turbo V-6 engine with 545 horsepower, comfortable four-passenger seating, LED headlights, and recalibrated suspension as previous years, what sets this special edition two-door apart is its unique gold exterior paint job and the addition of 20-spoke wheels. Fewer than 30 Anniversary Edition are already available in the U.S. from $102,770.

8) Cadillac CT6

The Cadillac CT6 is an upcoming large car that will be manufactured by Cadillac, launched at the 2015 New York International Auto Show in 2015.

The CT6 will be available with a choice of three engines, a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo and two V6 engines, a 3.6-liter and a 3.0-liter twin turbo offering 400bhp and 400lb ft together with cylinder deactivation. The CT6 will be available in both rear-wheel drive (standard on four-cylinder models) and four-wheel drive (standard on all six-cylinder models). The Cadillac CT6 comes in $80000.

9) Range Rover Evoque Convertible
