About Free Car Media

Recently, you may have noticed a car advertising company under the name of Free Car Media which has been offering you cash to drive. How does their system work? If you are willing to wrap your car with endless amount of advertising posters and stickers then Free Car Media is willing to pay several hundred dollars per month and that is just to drive a car.

According to Free Car Media’s website: “Free car is advertising supported. Advertisers choose the drivers they want based on the information which you provide us. You will never have to pay a cent to join this program”.

If you happen to be one of the lucky drivers who get chosen in order to get paid just to drive then your vehicle will be covered with attractive advertisements. Your contract usually lasts for 3 months but you may get longer ones depending on what the advertiser requires.

So how do you reach these paid to drive car advertising agencies? Before you venture into the realm of car advertising, you must ensure you are aware of the implications of doing so. There are also a few criteria which you will need to meet. For example, you must be 18 years or older to participate in the program. You must also have a valid driver’s license, a clean car as well as a clean driving record. If you have been involved in a few traffic accidents as of late then there is a good chance that you will be rejected by the car advertising agency.

If you meet these criterions then there are various ways to boost your chance of being chosen as an advertiser’s car. For example, the more mileage your car has, the greater the chances of getting chosen because it means that there will be more advert exposure as you are traveling more. One implication you must be aware of when joining these get paid to drive programs is that they will be installing a GPS location system in your car. The main reason for this is because it allows car advertisers to verify whether you have been traveling for the specific amount which you have agreed on in the contract. If you feel your privacy will be infringed then do not participate in a get paid to drive program.

Unfortunately, there will be some car advertising agencies out there which will scam people by offering fake get paid to drive services. They may request to take your car away for a few days in order to install a GPS system, when their actual intent is to steal the car. You will also get car advertising agencies which will sell the personal data you submit to them to malicious third parties such as spammers.

It is essential that you verify the company which is offering such a deal before signing up for a contract. How can you tell if it is a scam or not? First and foremost, make sure to visit their workplace or service centre. If they claim that they do not have one then chances are, they are scammers. You can only verify a service properly if you physically meet with the advertising agency. If they have a website then you should check its verifications. Use the WHOIS tool to see where and when the website was registered. If it was registered recently by an individual from Russia, China or any other countries excluding the US then there is a good chance that the car advertising company is not real.

If you follow these tips then you will have a good chance of not getting caught by these malicious traps which are set by the fraudsters. Always use your common sense. Money is important during an economic downturn like we are experiencing now but the cost of losing out to a scammer is significantly greater.
