Updated on October 28, 2013

2011-2012 Infiniti G25 Mesh Grille Upgrade

Tools and Preparations

The installation process of the 2011 through 2012 Infiniti G35 EZ mesh grille should take no more than thirty minutes from start to finish. However, this estimate is only accurate if you have adequately prepared yourself and your work area.

Work Area Preparations:

As always, you will want to spread out a tarp or sheet on the ground next to you or positon a folding table adjacent to the front of the car that you can use as your staging area. By doing so you will ensure that no damage will be done to the mesh grille or the radiator cover you will remove from the vehicle during installation. ALso, having all of your necessary tools and supplies in one area is a great way to use your time more efficiently and complete the job quickly.

Recommended Tools:

  • Black electrical tape or a roll of matte black vinyl film to cover OEM grille
  • A Phillips head screwdriver
  • A socket wrench

Safety Equipment:

Whenever you work on any vehicle you should always use protective eyewear. This helps to prevent any objects that may chip or be violently dislodged during installation from causing you blindness or injury.

Step 1 - Remove All Bolts from the Radiator Cover

Open the hood of the vehicle. Using your socket wrench, remove all bolts from the radiator cover.

Step 2 - Remove All Rivets from the Radiator Cover

Thanks for your feedback. Yeah, it looks better than I would have expected but I would recommend using matte black vinyl: over electrical tape.
