Go Go Gear Protective Motorcycle Gear It's Not Just Black Leather Anymore

Updated on March 25, 2012

Go Go Gear Not Your Typical Protective Motorcycle Gear

Designer Styled Motorcycle Gear

Go Go Gear takes it to a whole nother level. Seeing protective motorcycle gear that one could wear to a nice dinner or work, and a far cry from your standard black leather or race gear, was kind of a shocker for me, as I'm sure it was for others.

While watching Shark Tank (my favorite show) the other night Desiree Estrada and Arlene Battishill presented their Go Go Gear and struck a deal with shark Daymond John owner of FUBU clothing and many other entities (smart investment Daymond).

I don't even own a motorcycle or scooter but was in awe as to the fashionable designs and quality they had put into this gear. Normally when you use to think of motorcycle gear your first thought was always black leather jacket, jeans, maybe black leather pants, etc. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I own a few black leather jackets myself and use to ride in my younger years. Even the new race gear by Fox and other companies has quite an incredible line of race wear, but is geared to a younger, mostly sports related enthusiast.

When I thought of all the scooters, and different bike designs these days and saw this protective, very fashionable gear I figured I would share it with you and see what you thought.

Designer Wear or Protective Motorcycle Gear

As you can see in the photos most of the gear looks like designer apparel I would buy at Macy's or Saks. (hmmmm what a novel idea). I absolutely love, adore the black (Dracula) coat and the white one below, (like I can wear white). Then when you add the safety features that are added to this clothing/gear it is pretty amazing.

Here are just a few of some of the safety and other features on some of the gear;

  1. Water resistant
  2. Abrasion Resistant
  3. Removable CE-Approved elbow, back, and shoulder protectors
  4. Internal pockets for storage
  5. Windproof zip and snap front closure
  6. YKK zippers

I could go on but I think you get the idea.

Then just when I thought they had really surpassed my expectations I watched the video guarantee. Take a peek at it even if your not interested in the gear. I think you'll see just how customer oriented these ladies are and how they're setting a guideline that others should follow.

Thinking of Getting A Bike They've Got Them Too

When I went to the Go Go Gear website which is actually (just click on Go Go Gear) I was amazed to see that along with gloves, neck warmers, etc they even had bikes, like a one stop shop

They also carry Kevlar jeans and hoodies, Motoress casual wear, plus a whole lot more.

So if your in the market for some "not so typical motorcycle or scooter wear", I don't care if your 16 or 60 you will be the talk of the day, or the month for that matter. If you've got a hot date that's going for a bike ride or just want all eyes on you as you walk in off your bike or scooter, check out Go Go Gear..

Shoot I'm still thinking of that jacket I would wear not even riding a bike or scooter. Hmmm, Macy's or Saks you could be the first.

Take Care and Have a Safe Ride

These are amazing fashions and taking motorcycle clothing to an entirely different level. Have I personally seen anything like this yet on the backs of motorcyclists? Not yet...but I'll be looking! Voted up and interesting.
