      If, however, the weather is too extreme, the best thing to do if one either wants or needs to get somewhere is to take public transportation if they have ready access to it, or to stay home.

      Really good tips for driving safely at bad weather conditions. Especially I like the tip to avoid driving through water because it takes only six inches for the bottom of the car to become wet.
