Why some Women need a Chauffeur

Updated on June 7, 2012

A light hearted Article on Women and Driving.

When I am out with my friends driving and there is a lady infront of me driving slowly,(e.g 20mph in a 30mph zone) I usually shake my head and say “women”! My friends then laugh at me and say, "aren’t you a woman”?

Well, this one is for all my friends. If you look at the following pics you will understand why I say it.

1) Now, tell me - is this Parallel Parking. Is she parked close to the curb or is she asking for someone to bump into her?

2) Driving Etiquette - Its not polite to drive off with the gas/fuel pump, so other motorists can get a chance to fill up too.

3) I have always said if a car is so Huge, don't drive it - you might not be able to control it or it could be that the Jeep was feeling Tipsy.

4) I know the feeling. Sometimes you are so tired, you actually want to drive into your living room instead of walking in, especially if you have lots of bags from the grocery store to carry.

5) I smell a Parking Ticket

6) Actually, I have no problem with this one. I would do the same at Lunch time having my sandwiches looking out to a calm blue ocean and if a shark dares wink at me – its easy to make a fast get-away.

7) Always remember, when reversing, put car in reverse gear before accelerating. Maybe she was listening to the Sat Nav (GPS). The automated voice said "Drive forward".

8) I guess she didn’t want to miss the boat. I wouldn’t want to either.

Very funny and light-headed hub. There are also some very good lady drivers out there. But most of them are cute, with very careful driving sense. It's cute. :) love your hub here.

Cool Pictures. I guess the real reason why we need a Chauffeur is because we want to be treated like a lady.

      Thanks Coffeesnob and Reespenser. Lol.

Lol, Duchess. Glad it made your morning. :)

Hi Emievil, I know the feeling. I keep on asking whoever is sitting by me, to open the door on their side, so I can check how far away I am from the curb. :)

Ohhhh, parallel parking is my 'specialty' LOL. When I was new in driving, my friends would go down the car and guide me so that I can get as near to the curb as possible. Wouldn't want the picture above to happen to me. LOL.

      Good ones!

My daughter in law backed her van through the carport door! I mean all the way through it, she didn't just hit it.

On the bright side I took out a billion dollar life insurance policy on her!

      * Thanks James. Appreciate your comments.:)

      * Cheers Nancy. Lol. That made me chuckle. Thanks for stopping.:)

      * Hello Deborrah, lovely to hear from you. I hear the highways in US have 8 Lanes. That's scary. If ever there is a traffic hold up - it means Lady_E was in town and was driving a Hired Car on the wrong side of the road, as we still drive on the left in the UK. :)

      * Hi Philipo, thanks. The "Madams" in Lagos are lucky though. Most of them have Chauffeur for the company cars or their Hubby's Chauffeur. :)

      * Thanks Pete. I agree, People do get themselves in crazy situations. My first driving test - I drove on the Highway Curb. Long story short - they had to Terminate the Exam. Should've got a Chauffer to drive and tell the examiner "that's how I would have driven the car". :)

      * Hi Antoine, glad you liked it. Nice to read from you. :)

      * lol Andromida. So now you know, I'm sure you'll be extra patient with those lady drivers. :)

      Lady E,

You have taken a serious subject and presented it in an informative yet funny way; that causes one to think! "Some women need a chauffer" > I must say I agree especially in London! Thank you for sharing!

I like it that you were able to conceal the registration numbers where possible. The Precautions are essential for safety. A very nice Hub!

Very funny with lots of sense imbibed in it. Nice hub. Wish all women will read this. Infact, I feel pity seeing elderly women drive but i love seeing young ladies drive. They look cute. Though I can see that it is advisable for ladies to be chauffeur driven. It is safer and better for them.
