My first car was a hand me down my dad gave me back in 1974. It was a 1965 Chrysler 500 with an old big four barrel engine, V8, back then gas was fifty cents a gallon, but wages were low, too.

1996 Kia Pride CD5.  I named my car Gideon.  I had to sell him since it was more expensive to maintain the car.

My first car was a 1973 Vega GT hatchback, and I still got it.

My first car was already very old when I got it. It was a 1947 Dodge Pickup truck. It had a crank out windshield, very cool. I wish I had it now.

A green and yellow VW Beetle 1958 which I paid a massive £30 ($40) for. Top speed going down hill was about 61 mph, the seats were crinkled plastic with hard metal springs and some sort of horsehair filling. The rear window was the size of a ship's port hole and the wiper blades were held on with a couple of short screws.
The heater blew exhaust fumes into the car and the exhaust was 'gummed' up with a hardening goo that I forget the name of.

All in all a wondrous vehicle. When I took it in to the garage for an annual MOT (test certificate) some days after I bought it the mechanic found a huge hole in the rear floor which I hadn't a clue about. It had been hidden with thick plumber's tape and carpet.

    Great days.

1986 Mazada B2000 Pickup Truck. The driver door was broke and wouldn't open, and it was a manual transmission.

I didn't get my Driver's license until I was 22! My first car was a dark brown 1972 Chevy Vega .
