On older vehicles this is typical in the winter time, however you are not normally required or suppose to pump the gas on fuel injected models. Try some gas line antifreeze (which is basically alcohol) the next time you fill up with gas. It's sold in small sized bottles for under $2.00 normally, and will help work any water in your fuel system out. If it seems to help after one tank of gasoline then try another bottle on your next fill up, and it'll help even more. It is different from fuel injector cleaner, which you can try as well as recommended by JThomp42.
