Why do car commercials shout?
I know that others (like the Oxi-Clean guy) occasionally do to, but I am not buying a car and I am not the least bit interested in them.
Maybe because the car company that built that make and model are very proud of their product. It cost to produce, and part of the production is to see someone driving that make and model. That makes the marketing department of the company aggressive enough to be bold, maybe a little discreet, and oriented to want to sell that car.
Is not everyone proud of their product and want to sell it?
It's not just car commercials, but I do know they do it more often. I think it's because the people who make commercials know most people get up to go to the bathroom, get a drink. or something during the breaks and want everyone to still hear what's being said. Whatever the reason, it backfires with me. I don't let ads sway me and anyone who has those really loud commercials irritate me even more and I decide I won't buy what they're selling because they're irritating.
I know that it is not just car commercials, but 9 out of 10 times it is. Every commercial the Oxi-clean guy does he shouts and occasionally there are others. It irritates me too.
It could also be because many of those commercials are low budget so they have poor audio quality. So the guy has to shout for the cheap microphone to hear him.
I think it is to sound excited or so a deaf/hard of hearing person can hear them. Either way is annoying. If you notice the people in those commercials in the back ground they don't ever turn to watch them while yelling there brains out. Or maybe they are loosing their hearing from being around cars motors so long. That does happen.
I suppose it is possible that are going deaf, I had not thought of that.
