This could be answered two ways. (1) The more you drive the better you get. So practice makes perfect. Find an area that is secluded and with very little traffic and few pedestrians. Then practice. Understand the vehicle and your limitations. However, this leads to (2) That some people shouldn't be driving. They just don't have the temperament, skill set like coordination, or patience to drive a vehicle. For example, I've tried to learn how to ride a motorcycle. But I can't. So I just don't do it. You might consider taking driving lessons from an accredited teacher.
Depending on where you live a bicycle, scooter, or public transportation might be better for you. It's much cheaper, too!
