    I f I buy in U.S  OR IN cANADA CAN IT BE MADE USE IN sRI lANKA OR IN iNDIA

    tri-band gsm phone can be used all over the world as long it is unlock you put any sim card you like

    If the mobile is an unlocked one to be able to use any sim, you can use it in India, Srilanka or from any where in the world.If the mobile is locked with a particular network based on U.S or in Canada then you need to unlock it before using any other prepaid sim.To get the unlocking service you can either approach your respective network provider or approach any third party unlocking vendor like http://www.theunlockarena.com/supported-phones/rs16wp7/ and by specifying the mobile make,model,country and network to which the mobile is locked to you will be able to get the unlocking service with free unlock instructions.Once you have your mobile unlocked you can use other networks with it.
