   i have a wilderness model 25  5h how thick is the flooring and can i use a circular saw to cut...
   
   the flooring is very soft and spongy. i need to replace it ASAP.

   Look Out!  I am not familiar with the Wilderness campers, but there are two things you need to be careful of.  One- the manufacturers attach all kinds of things to the underside of a campers chassis and sometimes the sub-floor, including Propane and electrical lines. Two-A Circular saw?  Come on!  Your floor is probably Vinyl over a (supposed) waterproof pressed plywood sub-floor, mounted directly on steel framework. And it is most likely only 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick.  So, peel the vinyl up and check the wood.  Then I would try a crowbar first, or crawl under the camper, and drill some holes up into the top of the floor for guide holes for possible cutting.

   I would suggest you remove a small section of the flooring in the softest spot to see what is beneath.  This will tell you just how deep to set the blade on your circular saw. 
   
   Start out with a drill to ascertain you are between the floor joists!  Once you find out where the joists are use a hole saw to remove a plug which will indicate the thickness of the floor. 
   
   Set the circular saw blade as close to the exact same depth of the floor as you can.  Too shallow is better than too deep, you can always go over the cut.
   
   Once the small hole is cut you may be able to determine if any floor air ducts, plumbing, or electrical wires are clear before sawing the floor.  Good luck!
