Not to sound as though I am trying to contradict this article, but brake fluid is hygroscopic...which means it absorbs or attracts water? Also water does collect in the bottom or lower portions of the system however the bleeders are placed so that the air which rises to the top can be removed. (Similar to the older Chrysler systems where the calipers can or could be interchanged mistakenly)
