Did you buy your car based on gas mileage, it's fast/hot, $, fits my family, and what kind is it?
We purchase vehicles based on our needs. When our last car croaked we needed to get a truck to haul hay for our animals, so we got a truck. We tried to compare fuel mileage when we bought it 3 years ago but trucks aren’t exactly purchased for their fuel efficiency. We selected a 2005 Ram 1500. We drove a GMC Sierra and a couple of Ford F-150’s before picking the Ram.
When we go out to replace the car we have mileage will be a big think we look for. I’m not a huge car person so it’s not that important for me to get the fanciest or shiniest car. Give me a safe Ford or Chevy with good gas mileage and I will be happy.
