Jay Leno's Garage
Just how many cars are in Jay Leno's Garage?
Jay Leno has a collection of vehicles that can be described as a massive automotive museum. His car collection includes 84 cars and 73 motorcycles. They're housed in the Big Dog Garage in Burbank, California which is comprised of 3 large warehouses.
If you ever visit Hollywood and are cruising Mulholland Drive don't be surprised if you come across Jay Leno in one of his many vehicles rounding the turns. His tastes range from turn of the century steam powered cars, motor cycles, antique fire engines, Bugati's, Sportsters a cacophony of high end sports and luxury cars and even jet powered vehicles.
When he's not doing the Tonight Show you can more than likely find him wrenching something from his huge collection of cars at his Big Dog Garage.

Eco Jet - The Jet Powered Vehicle
The Eco Jet started as an idea Jay Leno had to create a jet powered car that was environmentally friendly. Built entirely in his Big Dog Garage in Burbank the project lasted 8 months. When they were finished the Eco Jet was premiered at the 2006 SEMA Show in Vegas.
The Eco Jet is powered by a 650-horsepower Honeywell LT-101 turbine engine and its body is made up of a Corvette Z06 chassis. The exterior is made up of a combination of Carbon Fiber and Kevlar. It's been clocked in at over 150 mph.
Since 2006 Jay and his Big Dog team have continued to update and fix the vehicle which has needed a lot of brake and suspension/ body work.

1906 Stanley Steamer - Steam Powered Vehicle
Jay upgraded this Steamer from a 23 inch burner to a 30 inch burner to make the antique car run faster. It looks like he's at a pretty good clip right here. Jay noted that in the Fred Marriot went 127 mph in 1906 in a steam powered car. A record that wasn't broken until recently by the British who reached a top speed of 148mph.
