12 Ways to Get Fast Cash Now

Get Fast Cash Now

Rent Out Your Space

I have done this in the past and it has proven to help pay my bills. What I did was add my house on Craigslist as a weekend house for rent. It didn’t take long before people started sending me messages asking about my home. I live in the city and there are always people looking for an area to rent for the weekend so that they don’t have to pay for a hotel. If you don’t feel like renting out your home, you can also rent out a spare bedroom.

This has always been a great way to make fast cash. The first visit to a plasma center can take 4-6 hours but once you are in, the visits from there on out seem to go fairly quickly. I have donated plasma a few times in my life and it wasn’t near as bad as what I had thought it would be. Also, most plasma centers pay more for your first few visits.

Yard Sale/Garage Sale

I love getting rid of old things and getting money for those things. Yard sales have been a great way for me to get fast cash. I usually save all my items throughout the year in my garage and, twice a year I have a huge garage sale. I have been known to make anywhere from $300 to $500 on a weekend. Yards ales are a lot of work but it is well worth it to have some fast cash in my hands.

Speaking of selling things, Craigslist and EBay

I’ve sold plenty of things only and out of the two sites, Craigslist and EBay, you can get fast cash today by using Craigslist and selling to people in your area. EBay is a great place to sell also but it won’t land you cash as fast as Craigslist.

My children collect cans and sometimes they get a nice little stash of money by selling these. Saving cans to sell can take a long time before you have enough to really amount to much so this is not a fast way to get cash today but, if you start today then you should have a nice pile within a few months.

Watching kids or animals

Babysitting is a good way to get fast cash today. I sometimes take to the internet and post a babysitting ad for weekends. There are a lot of parents who are dying to have a weekend all to their own or, even just a few hours to go shopping. Babysitting can get you fast cash.

Yard work

Mowing lawns, raking leaves, shoveling snow, gardening, these are all great ways to earn extra income and get fast cash. This may not be your ideal way of spending your afternoons but it does tend to pay out.

Craigslist Jobs

I know I keep mentioning Craigslist, and I hope you are starting to see a pattern, because it is a good place to find extra work. People are willing to pay you cash for helping them do odd end jobs. Some of these jobs may be as simple as washing dishes, while others might require a little more leg work but, it can provide some nice cash and it pays the day that you do it.

House sitting

One of the easiest things that I have ever done to make money was to housesit. I got the idea from a lady who was looking for someone to stay at her home and wait for the cable guy to get there. She paid me $15 per hour and it was all cash. I was there for three hours and she paid as promised. From there I found others who were willing to pay for me to wait at their house just so that they wouldn’t have to take off from work.

Gold for Cash

I am sure that you have heard the commercials that people are willing to pay a lot of money for gold. Gold is scarce right now and if you are really needing the extra money, search around for old jewelry that you no longer want and cash it in. My sister-in-law took in an old necklace that was broken that she didn’t want any longer and got $20 for it. She said she was surprised because she had actually gotten it at a yard sale and paid a dollar for it.

Write for Cash

I use to do a lot of freelance writing on the internet and I made a pretty nice penny from doing it. I still dabber in t every now and again and it still pays decent. There are sites like iwriter that pay for articles and once you are established there, you can really start dipping your fingers into the honey pot.

Become a Housekeeper

I did this for years and made really good money doing it. I would charge different rates but some houses would pay me anywhere from $150 to $300 a week and I always tried to be in and out of a house within four hours. You do the math; it can be a great income.

I've never thought about giving plasma before. There's some good ideas here.

It is hard to find work while you are between jobs, or when something comes up and you need to find money fast. I have been there and it can be complicated at times. The best thing to do is to keep your head up and try to stay positive.

Very good ideas here. I wish that the internet would have been more user friendly when I was in college. Maybe I would have been able to pay for school instead of taking all of my student loans out.
