I started my business on my own with little knowledge about selling AVON. With in a few months I had come across some great tips that I had found on the Internet, on the AVON forums and from other AVON Representatives. Over time I developed my own stratagies, some from scratch and some through ideas of other reps.

AVON Tips for Getting New Customers

Tips For Getting More AVON Customers Can Be the Most Valuable Tips!

What is a business with out customers...nothing! You can't have a business with out selling and you can't sell with out customers. The more customers you have the more successful you will be. Even if you have 100 customers in your customer base, you should always continue to look for more. Over time you will lose a few, you will have some that don't order and then the occasional that you leave behind because they are more of a pain then a gain.

Here are several helpful resources full of tips for getting new AVON customers!

The Power of 3! We all know what it is but do we do it? Even if you can't do it every day, do it on the days you go to town, the days you go shopping or the days you have nothing else to do!

Don't Shoot I'm Just The AVON Lady!

Advertise With Your Car! - Use an Avon Car Magnent to Increase Sales

Tips to Get More Avon Customers

Tips and Ideas for Getting More Customers and Growing Your AVON Business

Getting AVON customers can be easy or hard. It really depends on how you work your business. If you sit at home, don't tell anyone you sell AVON and expect your customers to come to you, then it's going to be hard. HOWEVER, if you run your business like a business whether it's full-time or part-time you will see great results.

Finding new customers can be very EASY! You just need to have a plan. Here are some great tips for getting new AVON customers!

Tips to Raise Your Sales and Save Money With Hot Points!!!

Hot Points can be a great way to raise your sales level and save money. A Hot Point is that level where you are only a few dollars up to maybe even $50 from being to the next sales level. However, if you were to go ahead and spend that extra few dollars, it would send you into the next sales level which would give you a higher percentage earnings level and would mean that you would have to pay less since your discount is higher! View the Hot Points Chart to see if you are close to reaching the next level!

AVON Tips For Raising Your Sales

Raising Your AVON Sales Level is Another Important Factor

Raising your sales is one of the most important way to keep your AVON business thriving. Sure there will be campaigns where your sales drop but getting them back up there where they belong is important.

Raising your AVON sales will not only help you earn more income, it will help to throw you into the next sales level which in turn will again, help you earn more income. The higher your sales the more rewards, recognition, and profits you will receive as an AVON Rep.

Advertise With Yard Signs - AVON Yard Signs Are A Great Way to Advertise Your AVON Business!

Yard signs are great way to advertise your AVON business! Stick a few in your yard, on your road, at a busy intersection and at your family's house!

However, the downside to using yard signs is that they can be costly. Depending on where you get them they can run $50 or more for a good yard sign. However, there is a solution! eBay! Yes, eBay can be an AVON reps enemy with reps selling on eBay but using it to find great deals for your advertising needs is great! Here are some AVON yards signs that are priced very low!

AVON Recruiting Ideas!

Tips to Get More AVON Recruits

Being in leadership can be very profitable. It can also be very fun and rewarding along the way. Just be aware that it can take some time to get your downline started and will require a few hours a week of your time to answer the questions, give them ideas and share your sure to email this page to them so that they can be as successful as you!

You have to remember the more successful you recruits are the more successful you will be. I have had to tell myself this many of times when even the same reps would call me 6 times a day. In the end it was well worth it!

If you have taken the huge step into leadership then you know finding good recruits that want the same thing as you can be hard! Sometimes, just finding new recruits can be hard.

If you are in leadership then you know that is the one time AVON issues quotas. Keeping up on your required recruits can be difficult. Once you have your required number of recruits don't stop there. The more the better. Plus, when you have more then just the 5 that are required you can assure yourself that you will hit the $1200 mark with no problems and that at least 5 will place orders.

AVON Tips for Tossing

To Toss or Not to Toss?

Does Tossing Work?

What is tossing? Well tossing is just that... tossing [a brochure]. Well, theres more to it then that. Tossing needs to be done tastefully, respectively and productively.

Many AVON representatives toss both new and OLD AVON brochures. I used to keep all of my out of date books in a box. When I got the box full I would bag them and toss. At the time I couldn't afford to spend extra money on tossing so I made due. Every few campaigns I would have enough saved up to toss anywhere from 30-100 brochures. I tried not to let them get too old, but 3-4 campaigns wouldn't hurt.

How to toss: Prepare your brochures, bag them, pick your area and toss....again don't forget the tasteful and respective part. If you just sling a brochure out the window, residents will think your are either littering or actually be offended that you through your book in their yard. However, if you do it tastefully then you will see results soon.

How to prepare your books:

There is now definite way to prepare your books. I have picked up my own routine which I will share.

I start with all my brochures in a box nearby. I label each and everyone, and put them in another box as I go. Sometimes I will put a sticker that says something like "10% off for all new customers", "Free Gift with Purchase" or something else along those lines. Sometimes I did this and sometimes I didn't.

Once I had all my brochure labeled I would then bag them. Using the what's new bag, I would turn the brochure side ways into the bag with the end of the pages facing in and the edge touching the bottom of the bag. (In other words, turn the brochure the opposite way of the bag with the open part facing up.) It will fit very snug but that's a good thing.

Once you have your brochure in the bag, push it to the bottom of the bag. Then take the top of the bag and tuck it inside the pages of the brochure. This will leave you with a nice looking brochure that looks like it has been in celophane. This will keep the water out, show your entire book, and be more eyecatching and look professional.

Once you have all your brochures labeled and bagged, them place them in a box and get ready to toss. I started on my road, then worked my way out street by street. I did venture off to a few subdivisions occasionally. Eventually I had tossed the entire 5 miles radius from my home. I started picking up new customers, got eRep customers, and even got a few recruits.

Oh yea, if you are in leadership, consider putting a label on the book that says "Help Wanted call 555-555-5555". I picked up some good recruits this way as well.

Hi Stephanie, Great Lens. I recently re-signed after not selling for about 20 years. This time around, I'm finding simply carrying around an Avon tote is a great way to get customers. :o) And I mean just the cheapie little black tote that came with my startup materials. Great lens for new, old, and prospective Avon reps! Thank you!

When I sold Avon in the past, I would hang the bag with brochure on mailbox flags. (It's against postal regulations to put them inside mailboxes)! Also, we had a paper route, and left our customers a brochure with the paper.
