Being in leadership can be very profitable. It can also be very fun and rewarding along the way. Just be aware that it can take some time to get your downline started and will require a few hours a week of your time to answer the questions, give them ideas and share your resources....be sure to email this page to them so that they can be as successful as you!
You have to remember the more successful you recruits are the more successful you will be. I have had to tell myself this many of times when even the same reps would call me 6 times a day. In the end it was well worth it!
If you have taken the huge step into leadership then you know finding good recruits that want the same thing as you can be hard! Sometimes, just finding new recruits can be hard.
If you are in leadership then you know that is the one time AVON issues quotas. Keeping up on your required recruits can be difficult. Once you have your required number of recruits don't stop there. The more the better. Plus, when you have more then just the 5 that are required you can assure yourself that you will hit the $1200 mark with no problems and that at least 5 will place orders.

AVON Tips for Tossing
To Toss or Not to Toss?
Does Tossing Work?
What is tossing? Well tossing is just that... tossing [a brochure]. Well, theres more to it then that. Tossing needs to be done tastefully, respectively and productively.
Many AVON representatives toss both new and OLD AVON brochures. I used to keep all of my out of date books in a box. When I got the box full I would bag them and toss. At the time I couldn't afford to spend extra money on tossing so I made due. Every few campaigns I would have enough saved up to toss anywhere from 30-100 brochures. I tried not to let them get too old, but 3-4 campaigns wouldn't hurt.
How to toss: Prepare your brochures, bag them, pick your area and toss....again don't forget the tasteful and respective part. If you just sling a brochure out the window, residents will think your are either littering or actually be offended that you through your book in their yard. However, if you do it tastefully then you will see results soon.
How to prepare your books:
There is now definite way to prepare your books. I have picked up my own routine which I will share.
I start with all my brochures in a box nearby. I label each and everyone, and put them in another box as I go. Sometimes I will put a sticker that says something like "10% off for all new customers", "Free Gift with Purchase" or something else along those lines. Sometimes I did this and sometimes I didn't.
Once I had all my brochure labeled I would then bag them. Using the what's new bag, I would turn the brochure side ways into the bag with the end of the pages facing in and the edge touching the bottom of the bag. (In other words, turn the brochure the opposite way of the bag with the open part facing up.) It will fit very snug but that's a good thing.
Once you have your brochure in the bag, push it to the bottom of the bag. Then take the top of the bag and tuck it inside the pages of the brochure. This will leave you with a nice looking brochure that looks like it has been in celophane. This will keep the water out, show your entire book, and be more eyecatching and look professional.
Once you have all your brochures labeled and bagged, them place them in a box and get ready to toss. I started on my road, then worked my way out street by street. I did venture off to a few subdivisions occasionally. Eventually I had tossed the entire 5 miles radius from my home. I started picking up new customers, got eRep customers, and even got a few recruits.
Oh yea, if you are in leadership, consider putting a label on the book that says "Help Wanted call 555-555-5555". I picked up some good recruits this way as well.
