E-Bay Auctions (you can add your product for buyers to search)

Updated on August 27, 2013

What is an auction? An auction is a system designed to allow buyers to bid on a product along side of other potential buyers, and raise the price of a product until the highest bid is given once the bidders can't bid any higher the auction is over and the highest bidder wins the product for the amount of the highest bid given. It is a way to get something really expensive for a lower price but that is not always the case sometimes the highest bid could be much more the the retail price, It also depends on how bad the bidders want the product and how much they are willing to spend on that product.

Auctions can be really fun but we are here to talk about how auctions can earn you an income. Earning an income through auction is fairly easy and requires almost no time to do a good site for this as everyone should already know is a site called eBay. If you have a product then this is the perfect place to post your product to if you want to enter it as an auction product. With eBay it does require a small fee to sell your products or even enter them for auctions. So if you are looking for a free way eBay is not the way to do it.

I haven't found a better sit for auctions as of today but I will continue my search I am sure there are a few good ones out there. How ever I think the best way to sell through auctions is to host it yourself from your own website there are a number of ways to do this. I am not going to get into that in this article but I will be posting a follow up article with that information in it.So how much can you make from eBay well that depends on what you are selling and how much you are willing to let it go for.

Sometimes your product never sells on ebay I have posted a few products on eBay and sold some but the others never sole so it is all about the product and the demand for that product as well as the information and price set to that product. you can also link your eBay account to many other sites to try and increase sales. Without traffic to your page or product even an auction will not work so that is where advertising comes into play. Most of the time with an auction you are required to advertise in order to sell.

If you don't know how to advertise or where to advertise then auctions more then likely won't work for you and is not the best option. I would suggest direct sales it works so much better. With eBay you can not only sell but you can also buy and bid on products through auctions so before you try to sell through eBay it is strongly recommended that you research your product and see how it is doing on ebay because chances are you are not the only one selling that product or brand. So look at the prices and information and the history of the product being sold how well it is doing and design your page and ad to suit your product in the best possible way so that you will sell and have great success at selling on eBay.

Happy selling and I hope this article was of some use to some people and check back soon for more articles about auctions and making an income on line.
