Sky's The Limit

The Headaches of Entrepreneurs

Owning a business is hard work, for anyone. It is especially hard when you are the only one thats working to keep your company on the map. Its called being a "one man dynasty". Many people who start businesses online are basically self employed, running everything from the site, to designs, to creating products, to analyzing all the payments, etc. The list goes on when trying to run your own personal company. I know you must be saying damn when the day starts. Lucky for you, I know exactly how you feel and I have been looking for ways to make our lives easier. Welcome to the Mr.Williams experience.

The upside with running your own business is that you don't have to worry about anyone screwing up and potentially jeopardizing your company. The reason I say that is because "only you can screw up your company". You have to make the right decisions in order to keep your business in tact. No one is the blame for your failure, but yourself. All that is needed is superior dedication and hard work. Success can be obtained if you keep to your goal of starting a powerful company.

Starting Off

For a starting entrepreneur, the best way to start off is to sign up for an affiliate program. The best advice that I offer to my readers in to merge affiliate programs. What that means is to sign up for 2 different types of affiliate programs, such as Google Adsense (ad based program) and Ebook Savior (commission based program). These programs are able to work side by side and earn you a good amount of money. Google Adsense pays you for page impressions and ad clicks, while Ebook Savior pays you to refer people to the website, and you earn 20% commission on every product that's sold.

The key to success with affiliate programs is to have a good website. Using a good website will more than likely give you a very positive experience. Remember, if you aren't starting a business for the money, then I can't help you. Its all about the money, no matter how selfish it may sound.

Climbing The Ladder Of Success

Keep in mind when starting an online business that you are gonna be at the bottom of the map. At the bottom of the map, you can only rise to the top. Hard work and dedication is something that plays a much bigger part than the words can actually explain. Without these 2 attributes, the hope for success is very limited, if not 0 percent. Work on your goals and keep in mind that you won't get rich overnight (figuratively speaking) and you may not begin earning soon after that either. Build your website until you feel its ready to be displayed on the internet and begin to get yourself noticed.

Advertising is the next step to get the customers rolling. Without those raging customers coming to your business, you will have no choice but to fail your mission of success. If you don't have the money to pay for the expensive costs of advertising with programs such as Google Adwords, you may use free methods of gaining recognition.

Ebook Advertising

Using ebooks to advertise your business can be a very good way of gaining exposure. It may take some time to do, but once you start, the results will be long length. There will be a lot of sharing of your ebook, and this spreading will eventually get you to the base of visitors that you want. Just send your ebooks to free ebook directories and file sharing sites.

Forum Sites

Forum sites are all about conversation and if you can make a good point, then the chances of people visiting your website is at a good chance. Make sure the forums are based or are related to your niche

Classified Ads

Classified ads can be a waste of time if you are using sites that have no form of traffic to them. If you use a site like Yellow Pages, you are more than sure to receive more traffic to your website.

Remain in control

Keeping yourself in line when it comes to building a business can be very useful. Don't let things easily distract you such as video games and children. Let the kids know that you are very busy and keep the game off when you are in the same room as the gaming console. Make sure that you don't have any distractions whatsoever. The worst thing you can do is allow distractions to throw you off your goals for internet success.

One other thing is to not work yourself too hard. It could cause you a lot more than just stress. Sure, you may make a handsome amount of money but in the long run, do you really wanna suffer the long time consequences of the built up stress? Have a social life outside of work. Keep in contact with friends and make sure you have some form of a social lifestyle with the outside world. Don't spend everyday on the computer working.

It may be best to set a work schedule, listing different things to do on each day. Make it as if you are working the average 9-5. Give yourself days off, allowing you to keep yourself in line. Maybe on Monday and Tuesday, you will work on the content of your website, and Wednesday and Thursday, you work on your advertising. Friday might be a good day to do both of these procedures, and Saturday and Sunday can be your days off of work.

Schedule Breaks

Have a sex break (seriously), smoke a cigarette, grab something to eat, etc. Do whatever you do to relax. Some people think sex is a great sex reliever (it actually is), while some people prefer to spark up a cigarette. Some people think that eating can replenish their minds and prepare them for more work. Whatever the case, you do whatever you have to do to keep your fatigue level low and make sure the pressures of stress don't wear you down.

Timing is perfect. Schedule an alarm clock at the amount of time that you want your break to last. Get something that you find to be very beautiful or eye catching. Looking at the lake or some form of light will do. You may also use music to help you break. Once you have found what you need, keep it with you every time you take a break. Once you are finish with your break, get back to work.

In taking a break, one should first have sex and then the cigarette...Nothing like it, unfortunately! I enjoyed reading your hub. Do you have any recommendations on what to do to make money online?
