So how do you find the right keywords to rank higher in Google? Well, make use of keyword research. This process involves selecting and analyzing a few terms that you think people will use to look for your content on search engines. According to webmasters, keyword research is one of the best techniques to improve your site visibility on the web.
Google and other search engines use search queries to analyze your text for keyword density, and if they find the keywords are used correctly, they present your content to the readers.
It is important to include secondary and tertiary keywords and key phrases in your content. These are the alternatives to your main/primary keyterm or keyphrase. Make sure that the directory structure indicates the content type found at the URL. Search engines crawl URLs, so make them pleasing to the engines. Short URLs with the right keyterms are highly recommended.
In most cases, a summary of a text appears in the search results alongside the title. You should therefore make it informative and interesting. Let the summary relate well to the content.
Be able to tell what the page is all about in the summary. If you have several pages on your site, create unique descriptions for each one.

Readers enjoy well written and easy-to-read content. You should therefore create a copy that is free from spelling and grammatical mistakes.

Include body tags (headings), such as H1, H2 & H3, to improve the readability of your text. Ensure you put keywords in the tags, especially the H1 and H2.
