BooBoo Goo... Turn A Boo-Boo Into A HaHa

Updated on March 30, 2014

BooBoo Goo was created by six year old Kiowa Kaovit. Her father, Andrew Kavovit (As The World Turns) helped his daughter pitch her product BooBoo Goo during episode 516 of SharkTank the critically acclaimed business-theme show airing on ABC at 8 PM CST every Friday night. This episode was the Young Entrepreneur Special and also featured other young inventive entrepreneurs. Read about SharkTank's other contestants and potential investment business and details in my next hub.

What is BooBoo Goo?

BooBoo Goo is a revolutionary new skin protectant product that paints on the bandage. It is available in different colors for the kids and is also available in skin tones. They are packaged in a small .5 ounce bottle that looks like a fingernail polish bottle. The small bottle is equivalent to 75 regular band aids.

My favorite part about BooBoo Goo is the sales pitch of the young entrepreneur. Kiowa aims to

"Have kids think differently about the world and we're starting by cleaning up one little booboo at a time."

Kiowa and her father began making the product last year and availability is very limited. You can purchase your own bottle of BooBoo Goo at the BooBoo Goo website for $6.99 + $4.99 shipping. The only thing I do not like about BooBoo Goo is the fact that by the time I receive my BooBoo Goo I will have forgotten that I even ordered it. Delivery is estimated between eight and twelve weeks. Other than that, I love the idea of painting pink fingernail polish like band aids on my cuts. I have always hated band aids because they do not stay on after they have come into contact with water. This is not a factor with the BooBoo Goo because it has a protectant that actually makes the places that the product has been applied to become water resistant. So I waterproof my cuts, as well as protect them from germs, and promote healing.

BooBoo Goo uses Shopify to market their product. They accept payments via Paypal as well as your usual credit and debit cards.

It seems to me that BooBoo Goo is going to be a hit with moms and care givers around the world. The growth potential is unlimited. Young Kiowa may become the youngest entrepreneur featured to become a millionaire. Hopefully with the help of this young inventors partners on SharkTank , Kiowa will have all her dreams come true. Be sure to follow her rise to fame and success (Updated weekly)
