Can working online work?

Can working online work?

Have you ever wondered if working online or should I say trying to work online, trying to earn some money from being online, could it really work for you? Guess that we all who have turned to the Internet for a way to earn money have asked that question, can it really work. In short it can work but working online is the same as any other job that you would do, you have to work at it, putting the hours into being online. All too often people give up thinking it doesn’t work, but they haven’t given it time for it to work. It takes time before writing on Hubpages or any other site really starts to take off and earn you money.

I joined Hubpages at the beginning of 2010 after going to a New Years Eve party and someone chatting about working online. Well this got me thinking that I could do that and I soon learnt it’s not easy. You see all the websites saying “and you too could earn $$$” yeah right, in the past I’ve fallen for that one, thinking that in next to know time I would be earning $$$ a month, it simply doesn’t happen like that, yes maybe over many months or even years of hours of working online, building up your down line and so on then yes, I can see you could be earning that kind of money they speak of.

It’s working for me

My earning from working online and publishing my article on Hubpages have been slow but building up nicely thank you, I did set out at the beginning to write more then I have but from May until a few weeks ago I’ve not really had the chance to sit down and write anything. I’ve had building work around home done and at one point had no internet because they cut through the cable, plus I had to put my computer away because of all the dust, works also been really busy on top of that to.  Finally when I got out my computer and turned it on and logged in hubpages I got a nice surprise. All the time I hadn’t been at my computer my earning had continued to grow without me adding any more material. So working online can and does work, even if you are not working at it all the time. You have to put the time into working online in the first place to make it work. Ok my earning won’t replace my job at the moment but given time and some more hours writing and posting online then who knows what could happen.

Time is what you need to give it

I sure if you stick with it long enough to give it a chance for it to work, it will work. You just have to believe that in putting the hours in tapping at the keyboard will in the end work out for you. Don’t give up trying before you really have begun, the Internet is in my view is a strange world of how it really works. One day is seems that what you have written doesn’t seem to be getting the hits you were hoping it would get, without hits/traffic, people going to look at your work you aren’t going to get paid. But soon it will, leave it for a time or maybe if you feel it needs editing to make it look and feel better then do so.

How long should you really give it before you decide it not working out for you the way you hoped it would. It’s all down to you and what time you have, I would said that you would need to try and give working online as much time as you can. I don’t mean write a few items post it to the net and think well I’ve done that and no it doesn’t work, I’m sure people in the past have done that sort of thing thinking No it doesn’t work. You need to put some kind of work into writing and posting online, write more than just a few items and giving it time to start to work, 3 months I would say isn’t long enough. I’ve seem things that I written 6 or 7 months ago not doing much, just getting a few hits/traffic, then all of a sudden they start to receive large amounts of hits, it does make you wonder why they didn’t receive the same hits from the start. TIME, time is a funny and wonderful thing, you just have to wait and let the Internet work its magic and start to earn you money.

Working online trying to earn something that you have written and posted on Hubpages and in turn onto the internet for everyone to see and read and hopefully in the end process you getting paid for sitting down at your computer writing it in the first place. It’s not easy and it’s not for the faint hearted it can be hard work trying to write something that you feel looks right for everyone to see and read. Yes it does work, writing and working online, it just down to you to make it work. It’s only you that can make working online work for you by putting the time and effort into doing so.

Take care and have fun
