165,000 Workers Needed for Canada
Canada is a favorite working destination for Filipinos. Many of them strive to improve their French speaking skills in order to be able to communicate well when assigned to a French speaking city in Canada. The country has opened its doors for employment and immigration and this has attracted many Filipinos to migrate and work in the country. Many Canadian companies also prefer hiring Filipino workers as from their experience, their Filipino employees are more hardworking, patient, flexible and very serious with their duties and responsibilities.
While watching my favorite news program "Bandila" the other night, it was reported that 165,000 workers are needed for British Columbia, Canada. The employers themselves were in the country to interview the applicants themselves. The president of A & W chain said that he wants to handpick himself his employees as they are the backbone of his business. From his experience, Filipinos are one of his best employees as they are very hardworking and they have good performance records. For those who are interested to apply, you can apply in any agency approved by POEA. Before you apply in any overseas employment agency though, be sure to verify first with POEA if it is in good standing and has an approved license. There are many Filipinos already who were victims of illegal recruiters and it is best to be careful and follow your instincts. In my hub, Philippine Recruitment Agencies with Canada Job Openings, I've listed some of the agencies with job offers for Canada. Below is an additional list in which you can visit and verify.
