Direct Mail Postcards - Do They Really Work?

Updated on February 8, 2010

Postcard Marketing Works!

Just a few years ago if you asked anyone who knew anything about marketing they would have told you that direct mail was the way to go. Then along came the internet and everyone decided that direct mail was old school.

Everyone that is except for a few extremely smart marketers that quietly made millions mailing out postcards and letters.

Fast forward to today and direct mail is starting a major come back. In fact for a while now many "online gurus" have secretly been making a fortune online by utilizing postcards to drive extremely qualified "buyers" to their web properties.

And their conversions, not to mention their profits have gone thru the roof.

In fact, do a little research and you will find the all of the sudden postcard marketing is the new buzz word online.

Why do you think that is?

Simple... because it works. Direct mail with postcards is simple and profitable.

However, there are a few pitfalls along the way if you are not careful. For example, should you mail out expensive, full color, two-sided, graphics intensive, glossy postcards or should you mail out a simple, one sided, text only card?

What color should the card stock be? How heavy should it be?

What about the list? Who should you mail to? Where do you buy the list?

What should be on the postcard? What should it say?

Mess up on even one of these things and your response rate will drop considerably. Get them all right and you are almost guaranteed success.

The good thing is, once you do learn the few things you need to know then postcard marketing will truly be the easiest, and most profitable way you have ever promoted.

The good news is there is an inexpensive postcard marketing course available to you that will quickly show you how to get everything right the first time.
