So what is a niche website?

An Internet meaning of a niche website is a site that focuses on a narrow group of people in a larger market with a common specific interest. While targeting a very specific term that people use on search engines, a niche site offers its visitors helpful and quality content that answers a question or solves a problem.

It means that it is a website that targets a smaller amount of people with common interest. It does make sense because the meaning of niche is:

Niche - denoting or relating to products, services, or interests that appeal to a small, specialized section of the population.

Notice the words they used, "Small, Specialized". So you might be asking; if it is small if it's specialized, how can I earn money on that?

Have you ever heard of the saying, "It is easy to be a big fish in a small pond than to be small fish in a big pond"? It is true in the fact that competing in a small market, when you are just starting is much easier than to compete in a very large market, with big competition. Furthermore, keeping it small makes you focus more and if you are laser focus you can do more things that are unimaginable.

So how can you start one?

For you to be able to start a niche website, you first need to know how to build a website. After you build your website you can start immediately but you have to think it thoroughly. Just like in a traditional business you have to do your due diligence. Because if you start a website, you have to put up some work, some of your money and time. So, in order for you to succeed and not waste any of those precious assets you have to research and learn things related to the topic of your site, also in sales, marketing and much more related topic in starting an online business.

1. Write down your passion, fears, and problems.

First, you need to write down what your passion, fears, and problems. You need to be able to determine what your strengths are, what you do, what you are afraid of and what your pain points are because in that things you can start to know what you can write about, on what you can teach when it comes to your passion. In problems and fears, you need to try to solve what you are afraid of and what your problems are. It's a win-win situation here because you can solve your hurdles in life or overcome your fear at the same time helping people who have the same fear or problems as you. The result of this is you can earn money; the quantity of money you make is proportional to how much people you help. People are happy to buy if they are their passions, fears, and problems.

2. See if there's a market.

The second thing is you need to find out if there’s a market; you need to see if people are already buying products that are related to the topic you have chosen.

Research, use Google keyword research tool or other related programs or software to see if people are searching for your topic. Always remember that the bigger the market the larger the competition, the larger the profit but the more it is hard to succeed. You need to be able to balance to see where you are going if you think you can be the competition in some larger market then go for it.

Use Google trends. A Google trend is a site that let you see what topics that are trending in your city or country; it lets you know what people are in the hype about.

You can also use the search field on Twitter; see if people are talking about it. If people are talking about it then it's definitely something.

3. Find a relevant product to promote

The most important part of all is you need to monetize your site. You can have the biggest website, the coolest website or the largest traffic but if you cannot monetize it, it is nothing.

So how can you do that?

- Find on Amazon - Find products that you can sell and is related to your topic.

-the products you use, see if they do affiliate - If you are already using the same product that you think is good, then promote it and see if there is an affiliate program.

- Or create your own product. E-book/ or other product - The best one is you can create your own product yourself. You can build brand and community so when you are getting a positive result you can scale it and get serious.

4. Build a website around that product

The 4th step is building a website around that product. Build it so that it is efficient to that product, it can put your product in the spotlight. Use phrase on your domain relevant to your product. For example (yourtopic.com) or .net or .org but don't use anything like .to or something like that, because Google likes it.

Keep the website simple, a 5 - 10-page website is enough. You don't need to make a 100-page website because of, first of all, it takes so much time when starting it and also, it will eventually get to a 100 page if you build it enough throughout the years.

You can also use a private label right. What is it?

-Affordable article draft that you can purchase.

-it’s a draft that can shortcut your blogging process.

Benefit instead of ghost writing:

-Less work, lower cost.

-set up a blog plan. It will make blogging a lot more fun.

Also, take note that the aim of the homepage is to go through the product page

5. Get traffic

The 5th step is to get traffic. Build quality links to this site and focus on SEO, article marketing. Build relationships with people.

Type your website/phrase on Google and see the top website, and get the same back links that they have. Take the URL of a page that is ranking, and go to yahoo, they show a lot more links, type link: URL of the page that is ranking, and they show the back link of the page, that help them rank.

6. Earn commission

The 6th step is earning money.
