Economical Graphic Artist - Corporate Logo - fiverr.com - Global Online Freelance Contractors
Business owners and bloggers know marketing is the lifeline of their business. Obtaining customers, maintaining customers and growing their business is all about marketing and the promotion at the right targeted audience. In essence, it is a combat zone, the competition for dollars is fierce. Or for my fellow bloggers, the competition for traffic out on the world wide webs is fierce (and yes, Google is demanding).
Now more than ever, business owners and bloggers alike must know how to market their products and services. Having the tools and resources to clearly distinguish your brand is pivotal to your success in business. Yet the advertising agencies and graphic artists are highly skilled professionals that accordingly demand high fees. Their extensive training and knowledge is what you are paying for and the skill levels show. Carefully crafting your image, your brand takes a great deal of thought and effort. How can small businesses survive? By using resources wisely. One of the great resources out the web is a freelance site called fiverr.com. It brings together the very best and allows the artist to showcase their services which fiverr calls "gigs". The fee is always set to start at $5 per gig with some upcharges for additional services. This service has saved myself and my clients thousands of dollars.

How to Hire a Freelance Graphic Artist Voice Artist Web Designer
How can you hire a freelance artist readily? The Chamber of Commerce is always a great source, yet sadly the brick and mortar are going away and the virtual services are growing. If you have the time and money, my first choice would be your local Chamber, obviously, that fits with the philosophy we have established here for local job creation. But it is a global world and know the choices is key. If you haven't heard of fiverr.com or tried their services, read on.How can you hire a freelance artist readily? Great Online Services - fiverr.com
Freelance Services - Microtask Marketplace
Fiverr.com or the stylized fiverr.com is simply a global online marketplace of freelance services. While fiverr.com commonly refers to the services as "gigs" and the gigs range from silly, fun items as a personal birthday song to personal videos to true professional services such as video promotions, voice overs and my personal favorite freelance graphic artist.
Wikipedia aptly describes fiverr.com as a "microtask markeplace". It is essentially often tiny services offered at starting rate of $5 ranging up to several hundreds of dollars. Who cannot afford a $5 service offering to give something new a try? Never knew about the power of corporate branding and logos? New to the world of website traffic and what a pinging service can offer for your small business? These and many more small gigs are available on fiverr.com
I worked with a lady who shared with me that her son asked her to visit his website every day. Well, you couldn't pay her to do that and even for her son, she essentially refused but what if you could pay someone albeit not your Mom $5 to add your website to their list to ping? Wouldn't that be a great value proposition for your business? Perhaps not as great a Mom but certainly a convenient and affordable service.
What services can a graphic artist offer a small business? Beyond the business card and corporate logo, the graphic artist has the ability to quickly pull together promotional flyers and advertisements that you could do yourself if you had the hours and the software. As busy entrepreneurs, business owners, we must choose what we can do effectively ourselves and what needs to be contracted out.
While the local chamber is a great source for this as we have detailed before, I have also used the services of the both OfficeMax and Staples. The hourly billing is always $50 plus and the fees mount up very quickly. Worst yet, connecting with their staff involves walking in and waiting. Yes, waiting in line - no appointments, no emails - the first come first served is the standard of care.
With fiverr.com you can see the freelance graphic artist's work firsthand, provide written instructions, insert similar images to provide a baseline very quickly. You also have a number of options from a one day turn around to adding other services such as multiple changes and multiple print formats. All this without leaving your office. And when do you pay? When the service is completed and you rate the services rendered.
Fiverr.com Services Help Small Businesses Succeed
All this serves up a platform that helps small businesses succeed. From the concept to the final price tag, the many options that are available are all the services that a small business needs.

Why Does My Recommendation Count? Because I Am A Repeat Customer
I have retained the services of two outstanding graphic artists and the logos they have provided are outstanding. Am I a stakeholder in fiverr.com? Not in any financial sense, other than I am a very happy client.

Making Money Is Also About Saving Money
All the hype on the internet sadly is about making money online. Yet one of the best tools for making money is saving money and this is how I personally use fiverr.com.
If I have an ideal for a new blog and need a corporate logo to float the idea, I don't have the time or the money to retain a professional graphic artist. I want fairly instant results - conveniently - this is what fiverr.com offers me. I can readily supply a couple of guidelines and ask for something to be customized in Illustrator, PhotoShop, etc...
Have I tried the local Chamber - yes! Have I tried Craigslist to retain my own staff? Yes! All of these methods function but fiverr.com for me has offered the most convenient and economical service for me.
How to Make Money on fiverr.com
How To Save Money - How To Make Money
Beyond saving money on your marketing needs, you can also make money on fiverr.com. Essentially, on fiverr.com you can offer any service - any "gig" - from silly to sublime to simply promotional items such as marketing/promotional materials.
The meat of this video on fiverr.com starts about minute 3 - do be patient or move forward 3 minutes - this guy does know his stuff.
"Little money does add up to big money."
He is absolutely correct. If you have a field of expertise, your services on this site may be in demand.
I find his sunglasses disturbing but the basic facts he has correct - King Human is direct and helpful (his name I find hilarious! - think about it!).
The ping service he mentions is a great service - this is long overdue. If you own a website - this is a fantastic value.
So you see, there are a number of great services that a small business owner can benefit from without retaining an expensive local firm.

Want to Earn Money on Fiverr.com?
Are you talented in web design, graphic design or social media? Just starting out and wish to beef up your portfolio? Then you must check out this new virtual marketplace called fiverr.com.
If I had to give an analogy, I would compare fiverr.com to an "eBay type" store for freelance artists because fiverr brings the buyers to the freelance artists in the same manner eBay brings the repurposed, vintage and antique items to the marketplace.
fiverr.com Can Make You Money - Add Traffic To Your Service
If you have a service that you need to promote, if you have an expertise you can add, fiverr.com may be a money maker for you. If you are a graphic artist seeking to build your portfolio, if you are a webmaster seeking to have a larger client base, fiverr.com may be for you.
Long Term Profit Concerns
Since I have no financial stake I this company, I will tell you the downside of this site - the potential downside - long term.
The only item I am uncertain about this business plan is after what point - if ever - you can retain this artist directly. Sadly, I see this as supplemental income not a client generator long term. I foresee the best and brightest artist getting their feet wet and leaving fiverr.com - this fact concerns me and should concern you if your gig is not about volume but about creative artistry.
If there is an answer to this potential downside, please enlighten us in the comments below.
