"Enjoying the fruits of my labor"

I truly enjoy making beautiful hand made jewelry, of different colors and designs in hopes of selling it all one day soon. I make original designs one of a kind jewelry. Two weeks ago, I went to a friends house to check on them, we had been taking about my art paintings to her husband. He never knew I painted until I showed him some of my art work. He was shocked that I could even pick up a paint brush. We decided to leave their house and go to mines, so I could show him my peacock that painted with colored ink markers.

When we got to my house I headed straight to my little office where, I have all of my art and jewelry products. I showed him my peacock and he was blown away, by it's beauty, but more taken by my unisex jewelry. He wanted to buy jewelry and that was okay but he had been drinking, so I decided to check with the wife to make sure she didn't have any objections.

She told me that it was find, she would rather him spend his money with me than to spend it on alcohol. He looked over my table of finished jewelry products and decided on a set for her and an ankle bracelet and two unisex beaded necklaces for himself. He was so excited about my jewelry. I was excited because I had just made $120.00 in fifteen minutes, the fastest money I ever made. I was really happy because had about $ 4.00 cash on me. God sent me a buyer. Being prepared to sale and having a ready made item to sell to the customer is a plus. On that particular day, I really enjoyed the fruits of my labor and I thanked God for the blessing of cash money to spend in my pocket.

Thank you so much for your encouragement, but the money ,when ever I get it, will be second nature, I love writing and maybe encouraging someone to go on, or up lifting someone spirits. that's the real reason I write. Can't you tell, I care about people. Thank you for your comment and feedback. creativeone59

I enjoy making my own jewelry too. People ask me where I get my necklaces, and I tell them I created these myself. They seem impressed some people take the time to make their own jewelry, but it is well worth the effort!

Your jewelry is lovely! I paint designs on glassware, and tell my husband that it's my mental therapy! It feels good to create something with my hands.

That is so great, God really knows what you need, sometimes before you even know you need it yourself.
