Updated on March 27, 2012

Top Online Resources For Work At Home Jobs

When it comes to finding good work at home jobs, the task can be quite daunting to say the least. Just do a Google search of work at home jobs and you will find thousands if not millions of listings on the subject. As with any other thing on the internet, one must be very careful which information to go with or even consider valid. There are many fraudulent claims out there that will ask for a deposit of money just to get you started. Whenever a website does ask for a fee of any kind then your instinct should be to click the x.

In my own research for work at home, gigs I have found a few websites that I believe are helpful to anyone looking for a good job at home. One such website is . This is a free website you can join with a supportive community many of whom currently work from home. You will find tips and tricks on the website as well as a constant update of the newest work at home jobs out there currently hiring. You can find anything from data entry work to call center type of jobs to do right in the privacy of your own home. The other great thing about this forum is that it has different folders with threads for the top work at home jobs that you can browse through post threads to get your questions answered and much more. I have found quite a few interesting gigs here one such gig is my discovering Hubpages. I strongly suggest you check this site out I am sure you will find something that interests you.

Another great website you can check out that is equally helpful is RatRaceRebellion. This is another awesome site that I used personally myself after many useless attempts finding a job that fit my interests in fact it led me to the my number one Gig that I have now which I will tell you about in a few minutes. Ratracerebellion has tons of call center, writing, clerical, and work at home jobs offering benefits. I found the information on this particular website very useful. If you are interested in call center jobs, for example you click on it and gives you an easy to read table letting you know the various call centers that hire virtual workers. The table gives you a breakdown on each company and what the pay per minute or hour is, whether they hire you as an Independent Contractor or Employee and the respective states they hire for.

Finally, I want to take a moment and tell you about a great gig I found called LiveOps. You can visit their website by going here Now if you like talking on telephone and doing sales type work then this is the job for you. Live Ops can be quite lucrative and if you are good at sales and talking to people than you will soar here. I average about $12-15 an hour here. These are primarily calls from consumers responding to various infomercials on television. You pick when you want to work 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You are hired as an Independent Contractor and they do require that you do a background check, which is around fifty bucks or so. If you are looking for a great gig for telephone work, then check out Live Ops and watch your profits soar.

Thank you very much for checking my Hub out. As someone who has been scammed before I am well aware unfortunately of all the ways some so called companies can get your hard earned money. At any rate there are some great places out there like Live Ops out there just to name a few that are great places to work for. Thanks again.

Awesome and informative hub. Voted up. I agree with being cautious as there are so many scams out there waiting for people who do not know any better. I'll going to look into this a bit, great job with this.

LiveOps can be a great company when you are just starting out in the work from home field. They give you the flexibility to pick your own schedule. Since you are an independent contractor you are allowed to take the phone line, internet and home office expense as a deduction on a Schedule C. I have spent majority of my accounting career working on self employment taxes.
