Five Best Websites to Write For

If you use a search engine to search for websites that employ writers, you will be loaded with many. The truth is that, there are many websites that employ writers, and finding the best ones may be a difficult task. These are some of best websites to work for.

QualityGal: You are required to fill two forms when you want to be a writer for this company. You are also required to fill w-8 form (for non US citizens). Upon the completion of all these paperwork, you are then given an account, but you will still be unable to access some of the writers’ information on your account page until you are given a test assignment. This test assignment is given to every new member, and the acceptance of a new member is based on whether he/she is able to pass or fail that test assignment. QualityGal can hold writer’s application up to 90 days before giving him/her test assignment. If you are not given test assignment after 90 days of completing your paperwork, then you should reapply. QulaityGal pays between 15$ and 30$ per article.

Hubpages: Joining this company is very simple and easy. All you need is to fill an application form, and this is accessible on their webpage. Although, this company does not pay you immediately after writing an article, writing for hubpages is an efficient way of getting extra money. One interesting about writing for hubpages is that you can get a huge amount of money from just a single article, this is because you are paid based on number of adverts people click when visiting your page. In fact, you can still be paid after many years of writing an article, and also people find your article easily when it is placed on Hubpages. Hubpages pays you in 60-to-40 ratio, i.e., you get 60 percent of the advert money, and they get 40 percent. Hubpages pays out money after it has accumulated to 50$.

ConstantContent: To work for this Company is very easy, and all you need to do is to fill the form on their webpage. This Company sells article on behalf of the owner of that article. One is expected to set three different price categories: usage price, unique price, full rights price. Constantcontent take 35percent of the money one sell an article; you are also expected not set your price below seven dollar for your article. Finding a customer for your article may be difficult, but if you write a very a good article on an interesting topic, then it very likely that you will get the article sold after quickly. Also Constantcontent emails their writers regularly informing them of the topics people want articles on, and by writing on these topics, you can increase your chance of selling your article faster.

WiseGEEK: This website usually pays between 10$ and 14$ via paypal. The minimum article length when writing for this company is 400 words. You are required to pass their writing test before you can become a writer. The writing test involves three phases which are usually completed within two weeks, and if you pass all the three phases of the test, one will be welcome to contribute articles regularly. You are required to submit at least 10 articles per month in order to avoid cancellation of one writer’s membership. More information about this website can be found here.

www.scripted.com

This is a website that give upfront payment. According to the website "In order to claim work on Scripted, you must be approved in at least one Specialty. A Specialty is an area of expertise that you feel most qualified to write in, such as Business, Healthcare, Travel, etc. Once you are approved in at least one Specialty, you'll be able to begin writing on Scripted."

Also according to the website before you can apply for a Specialty, you must fill out your Writer profile (relevant information, as this is necessary for payments to be processed to your account).

The amount they pay to writers varies and it depends on the type of task involved. When you apply for specialty, you must make sure you perform it very well because the score you get from it is going to determine which type of task you can carry out.
