Five Years of Being a High Performer
The start of my journey to be a high performer
It was October 22, 2007 when I first enter the company where I work now. And that is the start of my very exciting and memorable journey. Every time this time of the year comes I always look back to myself on my first day. That was the day I attended my first every orientation for the company. From that moment on, I told myself this company will be my second home and it surely was. Working in a global IT company is a big advantage on my part because I can compete or compare myself globally. I get the chance to collaborate with different people around the world. And with the five years of working here, I can say that I’ve met a lot of them and some became my friends. Sharing what you know to is the key to success. Keeping it yourself will not make you or anyone better. That is the main principle that I learned working here. So every time I will have to chance to do it, I grab it and make the most of it.
What happened after five years?
Well the least I can say is that I matured enough and learned a lot. Because engaging yourself to the IT world is a learning activity that you learn something new every day. From the time that I join this institution aside from the promotion that I get, I also find my second family here. These are the people that I worked with every day and most of the time when we do overtimes. These people motivate me every time I enter the premises of my work. We share failures, happiness and success. And if someone asked me how long I will plan to stay in this company, I will say to them proud and load that I can serve this company up to the extent that I can give.
I want to personally say thank you to all the people that I’ve met here. Those people that motivates me and believes in my capability, I want to them a standing ovation and a round of applause cause they deserve it.
