How To Earn Money Online-Legitimate Sites

Updated on December 18, 2014

Thanks to the Internet that the world is united as a big global village with endless opportunities and abundance of work.

How Easy It is To Find Work In The Internet?

Now these days, it is as easy as making a cup of tea. You only need to register with a number of online sites. Most of them are having two platforms, one for the work providers and one for the freelancers (those who are willing to work here). You simply need to get yourself registered as a freelancer, write a nice profile, post a nice picture yours, pass a few skill tests to prove your knowledge, and start applying for jobs.

How Secured Our Payment Is Working Online?

There are scores of genuine sites on which we can rely 100% for our payment, as they are time tested and keep the money in their escrow account before the commencement of the work and release the money the moment you complete your task and submit the work to the client.

Which Type Of Work Are Offered Online?

There are many categories of work offered here and further these categories are divided into subcategories. For example the categories are as simple as data entry, which is further subdivided into different subcategories like medical data entry, insurance and billing data entry, shipment data entry, and all.

One of the categories in which I have earned a lot and is well rewarding is the world of writing. This category is further divided into several subcategories like content writing, ghost writing, blog writing, report writing, creative writing, editing, proofreading, rewriting, copywriting, copyediting, and so on. If you are a good writer who can explain things clearly with good grammar, in an understandable language, and without copying material from anywhere, your earning potential is endless.

I am earning so handsomely that there are times I keep on pondering over leaving my secured full time job and start my own setup of writing, which most probably I will do one day.

A Few Legitimate Online Sites To Work With

A few online sites where you can rely for work and payment are as below:

1. Elance.com: This is one of the biggest platform where you will need to register yourself first, complete your profile by posting a nice picture, upload resume, and complete the details. You will choose the categories and subcategories of your work and then you always have the option to clear a few skill tests relating to your subcategories, so that freelancer seekers can trust your profile before awarding you the job. Then you simply go to the search job section where hundreds of jobs are always waiting for you 24x7. You scan go through them and select, which is best, suited to you. Then you apply writing a nice proposal and wait for the response. Your payments are secured here 100%.

2. Freelancer.com: It is more or less similar to Elance except that they charge a few bucks for each skill test you take. This site is also very reliable and many respectable and well-educated people are working on this platform.

3. oDesk: This is similar to Elance and now has emerged with Elance but has a different domain. Your payment is secured here too.

4. iWriter: This is purely an article writing site and content writers are in great demand here. You do not need to bid or put a proposal and wait but start instantly working on the projects. The only difference between the above sites and this is that in iWriter payment is low but is secured and they pay every week.

5. HubPages: Here you register, write niche articles and post them like a blog. People will visit your page, the site will earn and split the earning with you whole life, i.e., you will earn royalty for your posts your entire life.

There are more and more online legitimate sites to work with, but I would suggest that you start with any of the above, develop a taste of earning money online and then move slowly to others.

Very rightly judged and well said that one should not put all the eggs in one basket, as it may spill and damage all. The reason why we all love to put ours in several.

A good idea to check these other sites out as it doesn't pay to have all of one's eggs in one basket.

Good advice! I actually started here on HubPages a couple of years ago. I write more for Elance now. I love it! I will have to check out some of the other sites you have made available. Thank you!
