How to Advertise Your Revenue Articles

Updated on February 22, 2013

A lot of us want to break away from the old content mill writing and finally write for ourselves. Yes, writing for us sound like a lot more fun than writing for others, but starting out it can be scary. It is only scary because you will not be making as much as you are writing for others and content mills. However, luckily for us we can still make a decent income writing for ourselves with following three easy steps.

Step 1

The first step is to attract more viewers to your articles. This can come by writing good and informative articles. As I always say a couple of articles that are of high quality will make you more money than a bunch of articles with very poor quality. I am positive that you already know that, but it is amazing how many people do not. You can publish your work on a variety of sites such as, Triond, Bukisa, Helium, Hubpages, and many other sites.

Read 3 quality articles per day

Reading three quality articles a day is important, especially if you are just starting your writing career. By reading an assortment of articles, you will be able to learn about the different writing styles, what is trending, and various writing ideas. It is a good idea, because you will be able to keep up with what will make you the most money.

Add at least 3 friends every day

By adding at least three friends every day to your revenue site will help you become well known among the community. Not to mention more people will read your articles and more people will be sending their friends over to read them too. However, you should read the persons profile before adding them because you will be able to see what kind of articles they are into and if you are a match they will be more prone to look through your articles.

Comment on at least 3 articles daily

By commenting on three articles a day will allow more people to know about you. However, when doing this you should post sincere and accurate comments. You should never ever try and advertise your articles in someone else’s comment section.

Step 2

Another awesome tip for increasing traffic to your site and articles is to join various social bookmarking sites. These sites will help you share your bookmarked sites with their own community. By using these sites you can easily managed your sites; therefore, others can find your websites much more easily. This may seem like a job on its own, but in the end it will pay off because you can easily get more traffic with a push of a button instantly.

Join StumbleUpon

StumbleUpon is a social bookmarking site. All you have to do is go the main website and register. The registration is fast and painless and will only take a couple of minutes. Then you should download their toolbar, which can locate on the website. Now all that tis left for you to do is share your favorite websites and click the “I like it” button when you visit one of your favorite sites. All that is left is for you to favorite alof your articles, this way the more people will find yoru articles by using StumbleUpon.

Join Favs.com

Favs.com is similar to StumbleUpon. Unlike StumbleUpon you will need to invite friends on favs.com, so be sure to invite as many friends as possible, that way you will bring more traffic to your work.

Join Delicious

Delicious is yet another social bookmarking site. It is on the concept of the other two and it is also easy to use.

Step 3

Another great way to attract more people to your articles is submitting them to the search engines. By submitting your articles, you will be able to get them on the search engines faster than anywhere else.

The best search engines to submit your articles to are Google, Yahoo, and Bing. They are very fast and easy to submit them and it will help you out tremendously.

I sure do hope these three simple rules will help your articles attract more traffic. Always remember, the key to great article is the quality. Always keep the quality up on your articles and you will be successful in no time.
