With Boxing

If your passion is truly boxing, your life would be eat up with boxing. Studying stats and following all boxing related Tweets. This friend that I have is so passionate about boxing that he lives it, eats it and sleeps it. He is subscribed to The Ring Magazine where he gets cool pictures, articles and stats on the boxers. I am his sounding board so, I get to listen to all these states and have learned a lot about the boxers and their families. Each one's individual stories are amazing and each one had their claim to fame.

While he is constantly watching every ESPN story or any other channel that tells anything about boxing. Then you will see that he gets boxing updates and he follows boxers all over the globe. Training for boxing is tough. It takes a lot of discipline, dedication to the sport, a love for stardom and the spotlight. Also, involved is countless time away from your family. I believe that if you are loved by your family, and wanted you to pursue a love of boxing, they would understand. My friend does the commentating with the commentators while the boxing is going on. He does not have teleprompter's telling him the next stats. He just spouts them off as the boxing matches are going on. It can get quit intense at our house during a fight. He does not want anyone talking at all, during the boxing. I believe that if circumstances allowed, he would be boxing today. I think that he will one day teach his son everything that he knows. They are already practicing. Blood, sweat and tears are required along with long hours in order to have a chance in this tough sport or else you could end up getting hurt.

My advise would be don't give up when the times get hard and when people doubt you and say that they hate you. There are always people who will come in and out of your life that will try to hurt you and discourage you. Those are the people who are jealous of your success. Hang In There.

With Teaching

I have always admired school teachers or educators of any kind for that matter. In my opinion, I think that they are way underpaid, for the work that they have to do. They are so much more than teachers in today's crazy world. They can be a confidante' to a student, a mentor, a coach/trainer.

Among teaching they will do the above listed activities on the side. I remember when I was in school. You could hear the teachers say the children just get to be worse and worse every year. I wonder what they would say now with because, schools are way different now. Teachers give of their own time and money to further the mind of a child. I applaud the teachers out there that really do care about the child's education and do work with the children for the best placement.

With Something You Love

Some ladies may be in to crafting such as sewing. A lady I talked to today has turned her love of sewing into making stocking's out of a certain design. Her friend also has a craft of monogramming. The friend will monogram the cuffs or the tops of the stockings and then the lady that I met will sew the stockings together. Business is great with it being Christmas so, stocking sales are great. She is getting orders for ten stockings at a time. This is a good example of how you can turn something that you are passionate about into a way to make you some extra cash. Hard work pays off in the long run.

Also, if you decide just to specialize in a lot of the certain item, you have an unlimited listing rate with one of the companies so, that would be an would be a great opportunity.

With Caring for Patients

I had a music teacher in college who said, and I quote: "Pick a profession that you would do for free and then you will be more likely to enjoy your profession." It's a simple slogan but a good one to go by in the world of working for a living.

There are several things that you can do that can make you passionate about taking care of people. There will always be patients because there will always be diseases such as cancer and people will always need surgery. There have been many days that I have worked long hours, at times I have done things for free for a patient. It is going that extra mile that makes patients feel like they are cared for above and beyond the norm. Not to mention when you help someone it gives you a good feeling on the inside and it's the right thing to do.

Remember ethics and manners. Treat the patient the way you would want to be treated and if your the patient be polite to the attending assistant, nurse and Doctor. It's common courtesy and besides the worker has a job to do so be respectful of that. As far as the associate goes try and remember that the customer or patient is always right. A smile will go a mile.
