Create and sell your own product.

This is the most profitable model to earn income online that all Internet Marketers aim at. This model can be described in 4 steps

  • Step 1: the first step is all about creating a product that people want to buy. This product could either be a physical or digital product.
  • Step 2: the second step is to create a website to promote your own product. This website needs to have integrated online payment tool in order for your customer to purchase your product.
  • Step 3: the third step is all about attracting traffic to your site, you also need to provide relevant and useful information to your customer in order to raise a better conversion rate.
  • Step 4: the final step is to automate your website plus customer support service so that you can sit back and let the money come in. This is the model that many companies have had success with.

Partner with an advertising network

Another method is advertising, one of the best known advertising program on the Internet is Google Adsense. All you need to do in this method is to have advertise banner, text or links on your site and you get paid when people click on your ad. You do need to have relevant content with the adverts showing on your website however. In order for this method to work you need a few steps:

  • Step 1: Find your profitable niche, this step is all about determining where people are spending money online then you can set up a website with relevant content that people are interested in.
  • Step 2: The second step is to create your own website and adding high quality content that is relevant to your niche.
  • Step 3: Attract traffic to your site, build an audience and interact with your audience. The more traffic come in, the better the conversion rate.

Joining an affiliate Network

If you can’t create a product or adding a lot of content for your own website then you can take a look at Affiliate Marketing.

With this method you don’t need to deal with owning or delivering product. The vendor will take care of all the transactions, selling and delivering the product to the customer. With this model you can earn commission up to 30-70%, sometime 100%. Everything you need to do is to find a product to promote. In summary, you only need to follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Find a product to promote. You can find these products on Clickbank, Commission Junction, Amazon, Ebay, etc.
  • Step 2: Create a site to promote the product. You also need to add some bonus when a customer decided to purchase a product through your affiliate link.
  • Step 3: Write review, add content that is useful for your customer. This will help you gain confidence with your customer and allow for more traffic to your website.

Combine many methods together.

You can combine these methods together for better effect. However, sometime it’s better to concentrate on one method only. As combining two or more methods together can be confusing for people who just started with online business.

Lastly, you can choose any of these methods to start your online business. For me, I recommend joining an Affiliate Network or Advertising if you don’t’ own a product.
