Success & Destiny! The Truth! (1:50 Audio)

Create The Life You Want

Most of us have had the fun time of opening up a fortune cookie and reading our fortunes. They usually have a positive outlook on our lives and we have fun looking into what has been said, even adding a few words to the end of it to make it more amusing. Even though most of us consider the fortune cookie to be entertainment, many people have become very religious in similar things like horoscopes and signs. Many have gotten to the point that they won't date someone from a certain month and others will spend lot of money on the lottery with their horoscope numbers. Why are we so eager to believe in chance and other peoples' opinion rather than ourselves, own desires and real opportunities?

I believe there is some society indoctrination at work here! Since we were in diapers someone has always been telling us what to do, how to speak, what to believe, and telling us that some day we can have what we want. We go to pre-school and they tell you to not make a mess, don't eat the glue, etc. Elementary, Jr High School, High school and college it continues! They tell you what time you need to be some where, don't forget your homework, exact way how they want the paper written, how many chapters to read, etc. It is constant barrage of orders that control us for many years and it's no wonder that when people get out of school and now have to decide for themselves what to do with their time, they quickly try to find a job to have someone tell them what to do. Not only that, but they continue to speak in future terms as in "One day I'll get this" or "One day I'll go there" but never really believing they will. Many say these things because of the training they have gotten and justify themselves back to their comfort zone of some day. We must break the mold if we want to live at another level!

I'm here to tell you right now that you have a lot more control of your life than you think! You have the ability to be something great! Fortune cookies, horoscopes, signs, etc do not have any power over your life and in fact could be hindering your growth if you pay attention to them. You have more power just making the decision to wake up at a certain time, to exercise, to learn something new, etc. This power of growth and opportunity is called Time Management! Control what you can and the rest deal with it as you go. We are all on equal playing fields since we all have the same 24hrs in a day as anyone else. What you have to figure out is what to do with your time to get you to your goals.

Listen to the audio below and learn three key secrets in becoming successful and getting to your goals.

Example of planning your day to the half hour:

6:00 am - Workout
6:30 am- Shower
7:00 am - Eat
7:30 am - Read/Study
8:00 am - Go to work
8:30 am - Meeting
9:30 am -Client Contact
Etc

There are a lot of things that people do that are holding them back from reaching their full potential. Many don’t understand why they can’t take their lives to the next level or why everything seems to not be working for them. They see successful people and only believe that they must have some “luck”. This quote is how I feel about luck!

“The harder I work, the luckier I get.” Samuel Goldwyn

In my life I have come across a lot of “Naysayers” and I’m sure many of you have experienced this for yourselves. It’s so discouraging to share an idea, information, dreams, goals that you’re deeply excited about and have someone shoot it down without tack or scold you for even dreaming. It becomes difficult to allow your mind to dream or express yourself freely when your surroundings are negative. I’m sure there are so many people in the U.S. that have million dollar ideas in their minds that could benefit our country some way, but because of self doubt, fear of rejection, or even becoming a naysayer themselves they go about their own lives working nine to five playing it safe in their comfort zone. ( Is this you?)

So how do we start the process of change in our lives to get what we want and acquire the entrepreneur spirit to break free?

The first step is you need to have a desire for change. You need to have a burning motivation, excitement and a vision about the possibilities that are out there. If you are content with where you're at in life then stay there. But if you have any bit of desire to change your situation then sit down with a piece of paper and start writing down your desires, goals, hobbies, skills and interest. You must write them down so that your mind can see a visual and be more organized. The idea here is to be able to have a visual of things you are interested in and find what could go together to create the next path for you. (By doing this years ago, I was able to find that my interest in medicine, extreme sports and film were a great combination into a new business. For some reason it didn't come to me until I saw it all together written down.) Write down anything and everything you feel like writing and don’t worry about how you are going to accomplish them. Just take this time to let your mind dream of possibilities. This is not something you have to do quickly so take your time. Maybe even take a weekend or a week to think of ideas and every time you think of an interest just write them down.

Once you find your interest, passion and excitement in something, make small goals to get to your big goal. Don't worry about how long it will take or the work involved, just take it day by day doing something even if its small. Just keep checking things off the list and even if it takes 10 years to accomplish, it is still worth it! Trust me!
