Make Money From Online Surveys

Updated on January 15, 2010

Whoever said you couldn't make a nice income answering surveys!

Surveys mean a lot for a company. They provide an idea of the target audience demographics. Things like customer preferences, age, gender as well as other crucial information is obtained by taking surveys. Most of the free online paid surveys do not provide companies with honest information, so the big companies go the extra mile of paying for information as an incentive to 'buy' our honesty on product appraisals and reviews.

If you are able to answer a few simple questions and fill in some details, then you can earn a nice income from taking online surveys and helping companies with their market research.

There are quite a number of sites who claim to pay for answering surveys, but only a few actually do. Here, i'll list two of these sites which are 100% legitimate.

Vindale Research:

This site is one of the best as far as making money from survey is concerned - you can earn anywhere from 5 to 75 dollars, depending on the complexity of the survey. For registering alone, and completing a welcome survey, they pay you $7. Immediately after registration, you start receiving highly paying survey invitation. The only limiting part is you have to be from the US, UK, Canada or Australia.

Opinion Outpost:

is a relative newcomer in the land of online surveys, but it's one of my favorites. It is extremely well laid out and easy to navigate. There is an area where you can look at your detailed survey history, available surveys, and surveys pending completion. What you have earned is readily accessible, with an easy to understand accounting of your points (money earned) to date conveniently located in one area. This is a points system, but a very simple one, 10 points =$1. When you have earned 50 points ($5), you can cash out and receive a check in the mail. Participantion is however restricted to those from the US or Canada
