Making Money with Things You Made
I have been on Spring Break for about a week or so. Not having any homework, I didn't have much to do seeing how I didn't go anywhere for break. I figure why not start a project. So of course I went on YouTube to find some do it yourself projects. I came across a shoe tutorial and I thought hey that would be perfect for me. I went to the nearest craft store and followed the tutorial and made like thee best shoes. I am completely in love with these shoes, but then I thought maybe someone else would like shoes like this too. I decided to list them on eBay and on the first day I got like 30 views on my shoes. The next day I listed them on another website called Etsy and I already have someone looking to buy.
Figure out what you want to make. Go on YouTube just how I have. Look up DIY Projects and plenty will pop up. Find the project that you think is right for you.
Figure out how much it is going to cost you to make the product. So figure out the cost for each item required to make what your selling.
Determine how much profit you want to make and to come up with the final price for your item and the cost of supplies and desired profit. Don't forget to figure out how much it costs to ship your item to the buyer.
Create a detailed description of your item for the listing. Make sure that you tell them your product is handmade and also give them the amount of time it wll take you to manufacture this product.
Figure out which website/s you want to like your product on. There are plenty. For example you have eBay, Amazon, Etsy, and etc.
Once you have completed all the steps above, list your item!
And finally, don't forget to promote your item. If you have facebook or twitter try that or a blog. Just make sure to promote.
Please help me to promote my shoes. Here are the links https://www.etsy.com/listing/94212546/custom-mirror-glass-high-heel-pumps?ref=v1_other_1 so don't forget to check it out :)
