Most Uber and Lyft riders are too cheap to tip

Updated on August 23, 2017

It is incredible how most people that ride Uber and Lyft do not tip. For the most part, our society, here in America, is a tipping society. When a good service is provided, a good tip is given out. When receiving bad service, a bad tip is given. Still, even when it's bad, a tip is handed out.

Now, these services include table waiting, driving, valet parking, baggage handling, and others. As for Uber and Lyft, drivers see tipping in about 20% of their work. Let me remind you that most Lyft and Uber drivers are decent people. Still, they get nothing to what cab drivers would get, which was just about every ride they gave, while being total assholes. Well, for the most part, not all of them are assholes, but they had their reputation.

So, now that the taxi service has changed, and people can get taxi service for cheap through Uber or Lyft, people choose not to tip. For most part, this is about 80% of the customers that use these ride sharing services. What happened to Americans!? Why all of a sudden we have a cheap-ass society!

Really, some of these rides are like three bucks, and people still don't tip. That is straight up cheap-ass! You guys know who you are! Some customers even promise to tip and it never happens.

Is easier for customer to get away with it because it's all done through the phone or the respective app. I mean, most customers are out of the car and long gone before the get their message stating that the transaction has ended. So, when it comes time to tip, they choose not to because the driver is not there to call them cheap-ass!!

Maybe, Uber ruined everything when they launched their app and tipping was not encouraged. Yes! Uber, even after going international, kept the tipping out of the game. So, of course, all these cheap-asses felt safe in not tipping, even after receiving excellent services, which is like 90% of the time. Again, to those who don't tip when you use Uber of Lyft, you are a straight cheap-ass.

It doesn't matter if you use the app all day, the rides are so cheap that a dollar can be spared to tip each time. Don't be a cheap-ass! Let's make America great again by bringing back tipping to those who work hard and put a lot money into their cars to provide a great service!

Don't be a cheap-ass, tip Uber and Lyft drivers!!
