My Affiliate Marketing Journey And How I Have Learned To Make More Money Online!

Updated on April 17, 2013

How I am able to make a living on the Internet.

The title of this HUB is 'My Affiliate Marketing Journey', but I'd like to correct that statement here. My affiliate marketing efforts began about 12 months ago after I first became interested in making money on the internet.

HOWEVER..... the actual journey part of my affiliate marketing career only began quite recently and let me tell you =) It has been quite the journey of discovery.

I have discovered a brand new determination and a burning desire to achieve a higher level of prosperity and freedom and it has all come as a result of me finally deciding to stop dilly dallying my way around the internet and FOCUS on the task at hand = Making Money!!

Money Making Opportunities Are All Around Us!!

Making money is all in your initial mindset. You have to think about what it is that you want to get out of your internet based activities.

For example =) Some people like to play games on the internet and their primary internet activities are game based. This means that if a person who is a GAMER decides to try their hand at making money online, then it would be in their own best interests to promote something to do with the games that they enjoy playing.

Another example would be a person who spends the majority of their time searching the internet for gardening related information. They should create a blog or a website of their own for the purpose of categorizing all of the information they have learned for the benefit of other like minded people. Such a site can be easily monetized with GOOGLE Ads or affiliated products from Amazon or clickbank.

Piles And Piles Of Cash Could Be Yours!!

The title phrase of this module 'Piles and piles of cash could be yours!!' is a warning sign that should set you high on your heels and running out the door.

Because, anyone that tells you that you can easily earn piles and piles of cash is probably just trying to part you with your hard earned cash.

I was unfortunate enough to be parted with my own hard earned cash on several occasions, simply because I was looking for get rich quick programs at the time. I am not saying that get rich quick programs don't exist. All that I am saying is that there is NO EASY way to make money on the internet.

I learned the hard way how to make money on the internet. I lost a lot of money along the way, too. But all being said and done, I wouldn't have learned what I now know if it weren't for the fact that I have never given up.. and I never will.

Making money online is just a series of processes that a person must learn and implement. It takes time and patience and it is not without out of pocket expenses. You just need to learn how to minimize the out of pocket expenses along the way.

The Final Piece of My Internet Marketing Puzzle.

Internet marketing is like a puzzle, however it is NOT like any traditional kind of puzzle of which all the pieces are provided for you in the beginning.

The internet marketing puzzle pieces need to be sourced by YOU from a variety of different places like the internet, book stores, libraries, and forums. It is HARD work to do all of the searching and filtering that is required to learn USEFUL information that can be used to make money.

I was lucky enough to find such a resource on the internet that provides absolutely all of the information that a beginner needs to make money on the internet, though. But I am not going to share it with you here.

Instead, anyone wishing to find out more information is welcome to contact me via the comments section below. Just leave your email address and I will PM you the information.

Thanks for your kind words. Yes, I have found some success. To tell you the truth though, the money I get here at hubpages is the only really passive income that I make. I make money at other writing programs and I am an affiliate for a few different programs, too. But once a hub is published, provided that the hub is evergreen, it will continue to make money forever.
