Almost six decades now that we are together;

What have you done to me?

What have I done to you?

What have we done to each other?

Three magic words I learn from you;

Remember; Love; and Faith;

In every stage of our company in this jungle of the living;

These three magic words keep me safe and moving;

When things go wrong, I Remember the happy days with you;

When nothing else could help, I remember to Love you;

When the day is dark and dreary and tomorrow seems bleak, I let Faith guide me and brighten my day and the days ahead of me;

In this lifelong journey I had seen good and bad days;

Met good and bad people and situations;

But the three magic words are my trusted railings as I move higher upward the stairway to my destiny;

Life! I trust in you through the bad and good days;

For I know that you are supportive and reliable;

I value you in every area of this journey;

I count my blessings and discard the useless things along the way;

In this classroom of the living, you are my trusted teacher;

You teach me love, patience, humility, meekness and all the virtues that make all my days colorful and meaningful;

Oh Life! I should know that Life supports itself.

      Nothing ventured ,nothing gained. Nothing is farther than the truth than that one. You're giving it all you got . That's a lot of worth right there. I bet you'll get the desired results that you've been aiming for.

      Globetrekkermel,

      I feel like I am back to the university. Four years for my undergrad plus 6 years for my 3 Masters degrees. The sort that feels unending while you are at it but if you are focused to something that convinces you to be the best thing for your life, you will do anything including changing your values system and deeper beliefs. Patience is not supposed to be one of my virtues but if the reward is a lifelong happiness(...at least that is what I am deeply convinced right now once I am together with my husband...) then I will embrace patience and make it a part of me.

      Looks like patience is what you are tested with. Don't give up. You'll come around.

      Globetrekkermel,

      My husband can wait for me to arrive in the U.S....he doesn't want to leave his native land...his job, his home and his dogs...I have to be the one to move to his direction, no matter what it cost...I had left my job already for this purpose...

      Globetrekkermel,

      I am going to the States but "soon" is a big question, my lawyer seems to delay my legal documents intentionally so he can extort more money.

      Nice thoughts and words, enjoyed the positivity of your piece. And keeping it simple with just three simple words!

      That's how to keep it real.

      I enjoyed this, thanks for sharing!
