Make Every Minute Count

Do you scream at the top of your lungs when it's appropriate? Do you sing in the shower? Is there ever a time when you run around the house naked?

What do you do when there's time for you? Maybe you're tired and you don't feel like doing anything. But, if you don't take the very few moments that you do have to, to do something fun you'll resent it later. It will rear it's ugly face when you least expect it. You'll snap at the wrong moment. You'll let it all loose. Eventually you'll feel like you never done anything for yourself. Believe me it will happen if you neglect your needs. If you let everything else come first all of the time.

It's hard to put yourself first when all you've ever done is take care of other people. You and I both have to learn to do this. It's important. When you take care of yourself you feel better. You know you do. The biggest problem you have to encounter here is believing that you deserve the time to take care of yourself. Maybe you could realign your priorities if that's possible.

Don't watch that predictable daily soap opera, or at least take one day off and make yourself pretty like all those actors on the show. You can live like that. You'll want to after you try it, Do anything you can to make you lifestyle better. There is hope. You can use the time you have to indulge yourself at least some of the time. Hopefully it will be more than just once every few months. Fight for your time. You're the one who has to live with yourself.
