Updated on February 9, 2018

Blog and website owners in 2008 received a staggering $2.1 billion as affiliate marketing fees or incomes. Apart from the internet holding such great potential for making money, and in other words, making a living with, there are other added advantages like working at your own schedule without supervision or at the mercy of your boss, no traveling, and other costs that often come with the conventional ways of operating a business.

As we all know, whenever cost is cut in operating a business, there are usually more profits. In this article we share a sure way that will see you making money online.

There are many ways of making money online, such as: Taking Surveys, Data entry, Freelancing, Selling of photos online, Online tutoring, Translating, Membership sites, and not forgetting Affiliate marketing which we would be focusing on in this article.

One of the best ways to make money online is through affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing basically means promoting or selling products that you don’t even own, or selling other people’s products to your customers online.

This idea is to help the product owners or creators to reach other customers they wouldn’t have on their own. The best part about this is that you get to share the revenue generated from your sales with the product owner.

This revenue sharing are mostly percentage based, which means, if the percentage of a selling product is 70% and it cost $100, you get $70 whiles the product owner get $30.

Affiliate marketing can be done with or without a website, but in my humble opinion it its much profitable to have a website or a blog. My next article will talk about why it is more profitable to have a website. Please follow me to stay in touch.

  • Writing articles or make a video review on the given products.

With every product you choose to promote, you need to write a review for it. It is therefore advisable to try the product, so as to have firsthand knowledge about it. Other than that, you could also hire others to write a review for you or write them yourself. You may also want to post links and banners with the reviews so that your customers can have easy access to the products by clicking on them, since that’s the most important part.
