Adoption - acting and advising in relation to adoption laws
Litigation - civil work both in County Court and High Court. Including Road traffic accident, accident at work or medical negligence claim.
Personal injury claims
Criminal - including PACE services (attendance at police stations). Legal advice both at Magistrates court and Crown court.
Legal Aid - we can apply for legal aid financial assistance on your behalf.
Out of hours - can be contacted and availble outside normal office hours, if required.
We act for clients who can be either individuals, groups, public sector organisations or private companies.
There are currently two partners in Rafferty and Donaghy, and one assistant solicitor.
Francis Rafferty, graduated at Queens University, Belfast, in 1982. Specialises in Conveyancing, Wills and Probate, Care and Protection, Matrimonial, Claims and Litigation.
Martin Donaghy, graduated at Queens University, Belfast, in 1984. Specialises in Conveyancing, Claims and Litigation and court representation.
Assistant Solicitor Ruairi Maguire, also graduated at Queens University, in 2006. Specialises in Civil litigation and criminal law. Representation at Courts.

Law Society NI
Rafferty and Donaghy are current members of the Law Society of Northern Ireland.
The Law Society of NI is the regulatory body which oversees each solicitors practice in Northern Ireland. The Law Society carry out inspection of accounts on a regular basis for each office. They issue a certificate to each solicitor.
Professional Indemnity Insurance is mandatory.
Each of our solicitors holds a practising certificate.
