Resources to help guide one to Prosperity

Updated on May 31, 2017

Four Masters of Finance

The first and foremost resource to help guide a person to prosperity is the actual scripture itself. Learn it, study it, and incorporate it into your life daily. Its lessons are timeless and apply today just as they did thousands of years ago.

There are four financial greats that I have included in this book as resources to learn from to help one grow. They include Mr. Dave Ramsey, Rabbi Daniel Lapin, Mr. Grant Cardone, and Mr. Robert Kiyosaki. I have listed them in this order very specifically because it follows a line of thought from basic teachings to more advanced teachings. I do not believe in every single thing that these teachers have taught. So I say learn how to get out of debt and stay out of debt with Mr. Dave Ramsey, learn the proper attitude towards money and business from Rabbi Daniel Lapin, learn the business tactics from Mr. Grant Cardone and learn the difference of thought of Rich and Poor from Mr. Kiyosaki.

Dave Ramsey - There are a lot of individuals that have a great grasp on financial matters. Below I have listed a few of the top guys and focused on how they can help you in your financial wisdom.

The first person on my list to listen to is Dave Ramsey. This man was a self-made millionaire that did it fast in real estate but did it the wrong way by accumulating a lot of debt. This eventually sunk him and caused him to go bankrupt and start over again. Since then he has been extremely blessed by God. He credits the wisdom of Scripture and the grace of God to his success. He believes that one should work hard and get out of debt. He has written several books on the topic such as The Total Money Makeover: Classic Edition: A Proven Plan for Financial Fitness & The Financial Peace Planner: A Step-by-Step Guide to Restoring Your Family’s Financial Health, and several other books.

In addition, Mr. Ramsey has a weekly talk show that is aired on Sunday mornings. Often times when I am driving I listen as several people call in and ask for his help on how to get out of debt. If your goal is to get out of debt and this should be the first and foremost goal of anyone trying to apply biblical wisdom, then making Dave Ramsey your mentor in this subject would be a wise move.

Rabbi Daniel Lapin – He deals with the other side of the equation so to speak. His books are biblical wisdom that deals approaching business with a healthy attitude about money, what money is, how money is a tool. He teaches great lessons on how to network and how scripture helps guide us in that networking. Sometimes, it is just not enough to get out of debt. If you do not have money coming in then how can you get out of debt? You will have to learn how to create wealth to help prevent you from falling into the same traps that cause you to get into debt in the first place.

Rabbi Daniel Lapin’s books on the topic of creating wealth are Thou Shall Prosper: Ten Commandments for Making Money, & Business Secrets from the Bible: Spiritual Success Strategies for Financial Abundance.

Grant Cardone – Mr. Cardone grew up in a very poor family and suffered from a lot of issues that poor people raised in a poor environment deal had to deal with. He is a self-made millionaire. He owns several properties in real estate and now wants to help several other people rise up from poverty. He has his own YouTube channel and has put out several books.

Mr. Cardone teaches actual business techniques. He coaches and mentors people on setting up organizations, how to make successful business transactions, how to sell and close deals, as well as how to write off expenses against taxes.

Two of the most famous books by Grant Cardone are The 10X Rule: The Only Difference between Success and Failure & Be Obsessed or Be Average.

I recommend Grant Cardone if your desire is to go beyond and make yourself a wealthy individual so you can help others around you as well.

Robert T. Kiyosaki– Mr. Kiyosaki teaches us how to think like a rich person. He gives us a good understanding of Cash Flow and he describes how the mentality of a Rich Person is different from a Middle-Class person. His lessons include how the rich view an Asset and how the middle class views an asset and how the difference allows the rich to be richer and the middle class to become poorer.

It is often taught that a home is an Asset. This is the belief that is held by the middle class. However, Mr. Kiyosaki clearly teaches us that an Asset is not something that has equity but something that actually causes cash flow to come into the pocket.

Mr. Kiyosaki’s books include Rich Dad’s CASHFLOW Quadrant: Rich Dad’s Guide to Financial Freedom & Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money – That The Poor And Middle Class Do Not!, as well as several other books.
