Dominate The Search Engines Using These SEO Search Engine Optimization Secrets

Everybody with a website wants to be on the top of the search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) because of the huge amounts of traffic and customers they can send to your customers. There is no doubt that there is fierce competition in most niches but with a little help, you can learn how to beat the other guys and move to the top on page one. There is so much to know, learn, and understand about SEO search engine optimization. There are so many ways to do it and it can take a long time if not done right. That's why many people just give up and outsource it to a Professional SEO Company, which can be very expensive, but much faster. The question is whether your bottom line net profit for outsourcing the work will outweigh the cost. If not, then you need to learn how to do it yourself and take advantage of these free traffic resources which will help you generate free leads and customers for your business. These search engine optimization tips and techniques are proven among SEO professionals today.

One simple trick to know is that the more broad a market keyword the more competition there will be. That's why it is a good example to master the keyword intelligence side of search engine optimization first so you can create a plan around these keywords which you will rank on the top page in the search engines. This is your number one goal. There is no use optimizing your website and anchor keyword backlinks using keywords that are too competitive or words that don't get any searches at all. This happens very often where people get excited about being in a top spot for a keyword or keyword phrase but realistically, there are very little or zero searches for that keyword. So, with this being said, do your keyword research, then add those keywords to your website title, meta tags, and in content using bold structure where necessary.

so let's take our first example so you and I are on the same page, no puns intended. OK, let's say you are a plumber and you want to be on the first page for this keyword. Well, right off the bat, you just made your first mistake because there are plumbers all over the world and you are not going to drive to china to do a job are you? What you need to do is narrow down your keywords locally to your area county, city etc. You get the picture. These are going to be less competitive and easier to rank for on the first page of Google, the number one search engine in the world accounting for more than 85% of searches, where your customers are looking.

Now you get the picture. You are already arriving at second base because knowing your destination is half the battle. So now you need to find keywords that your customers would be looking for and add either your city or county or both at the end of the keywords. Let me give you another example, [plumbers in "your city"] [best plumbers in "your city"] [inexpensive plumbers in "your city"] etc.

One thing for sure, we are not going to guess! That's where the keyword tools come in. We need to use a keyword tool to search out and find keywords that people are actually searching for. In case you don't know what I mean, there are keyword software tools that can search internet logs to see what people search about on a monthly basis. We use these tools to find relevant keywords to our business that people on the internet are actually searching for. We are looking for numbers that represent a healthy search volume that we can work with.

You will need to learn how to use free keyword tools like Google Adwords keyword suggestion tool and paid ones which I will not mention just yet. Let's take a look at this first video to learn how to use Google's free keyword tool and yes you can find this amazing free tool by going to Google and typing in "Google Adwords keyword tool." Understand that you will begin by typing in a "seed keyword" for your niche and the tool will give you a list of relevant keywords to your seed keyword entered. You can also go down another level by grabbing any of those keywords listed and entering them back into the tool to expand on more keywords relevant to the new keyword you just typed in. Don't worry, this will all come easy to you once you play around with it a little. Do not be intimidated, learning is earning.

One quick trick about using this keyword tool is that you can spy on your competitors websites since the tool has a separate entry on the right where you can type in any website address. Simply stated, Google's keyword tool will come back with results displayed for the website you place in this field. If you entered in a competitor's website, you can spy on there website's keywords and then use them to optimize your website, keyword target, advertise using Google Adwords, etc. Just remember if your services are local you can add your city, state, zip, county at the end of the keywords to narrow things down, target your customers, and have an advantage over your local competitors by using all this information to outrank your competitors for your market keywords and phrases.

Also, if you have a blog and write in it daily using your keywords with your city, state, zip, county, etc, Google will send your traffic based on the fact that people are searching using keyword phrases that you might of never found doing research but when you write in a blog and talk about your product or service, customer experiences, features, benefits and so on, you will come up with thousands of word variations for your business that your customers will find. So, get a blog, write in it as often as you can and about just about anything you can think of relating to your business. Yes, content is king and will help you get free traffic, leads, and customers so be sure to take action on this. Here is how to get first page rankings on search engines.

Social Signals from Social Networks Help Your Search Engine Rankings

We know about on-page and off-page very well. But have you started
working on optimizing your Social Signals? Google has confirmed that they are tracking and picking up collective information about a site's social presences. They termed this "Social Signals". In other words, a site with great social signals tends to rank higher. So what are these?

As you can see on the top of this page there is a Facebook like button, pin it, and tweet button. Google can pick up on these and rank you higher if the social community has clicked on these buttons. Think of it as a vote by the community liking the content of your website. In a sense the people are validating your information is legit and Google uses these signals to help determine ranking. So what is the lesson here? Write good content for people and not search engines. Give people what they are looking for in terms of value and your website will rank well.

SEO is Worth the Work Involved

Many business owners today realize SEO is the way to go to generate tons of free website visitors and customers as opposed to the traditional yellow pages or high cost of advertising. Many business owners do not have the time that it takes to do all of the work necessary to achieve high results or don't reach the goals and expectations they set out to accomplish with search engine optimization. A better alternative is to simply outsource the work to someone that offers SEO services. SEO services provide business owners with reasonable expectations and excellent results.
