Seekyt - Backlink, Increase Traffic & Make Money

Updated on November 12, 2012

Join Seekyt and Make Money!

If, like me, you're trying to make a bit of extra cash with your hubs, you may or may not be aware of the fact that back linking is a great way to increase traffic, which in turn, if your article content is of a popular subject, should increase your online income. Backlinking is easy, and is an efficient way to get your hubs out there and seen by the millions of people online. If you are not familiar with the term, all backlinking means is posting the link to your hub or article, onto another content sharing site, with a short description about it, which links back to your hub. All you need to know is how to copy and paste, because that is basically all backlinking is.

While on my search for sites I can backlink to I came across Seekyt, which is a revenue sharing site that allows me to write articles, post mini-blogs which Seekyt call 'Journals', and link back to my hubs and blogs, add videos and images, all while earning money from Google Adsense and Amazon Associates. If you don't have a Google Adsense or Amazon Associates account it's worth joining if you want to make money online, and they're free to sign up. Add your Google and Amazon ID's when you sign up to Seekyt, and when you post an article or bookmark, Google and Amazon ads will also be posted automatically, so less fuss for you. This gives you the opportunity to earn 70% of the Google revenue generated from the clicked ads on your posts, and 100% of the Amazon programme revenue!

You can also earn money with Seekyts referal programme, which is easy to use and set up. Once you're signed up, you will find your referal link in the 'referal programme' section in your 'account'. Post your referal link on Twitter or Facebook, or write an article about Seekyt and add the link, like I'm doing now. It's well worth refering new members as you earn 25% of the Adsense revenue generated from your referals articles! They still recieve 70%, your 25% is taken from Seekyts share. I've refered 2 members so far, just from posting the referal link on Twitter and a few other sites. So once you join spread the word!

Seekyt is easy to use and free to join!

Seekyt is free to join, and I've found it relatively easy compared to some other sites I have used. They require you to write at least 2000 characters for your articles, which is around 400 words - not bad to promote your hub or blog. Add your link, and add images and videos to make your article more interesting. There are easy to use tabs for Youtube, videos and images, that make it easier for you to post pictures and videos in your articles. Of course you also have the option to go back and edit articles if you wish to do so later on. There's good advice about how to optimize and link to your articles in the FAQ section, which will increase traffic and earn you more money.

For new members, the first 3 articles you publish will be held for moderation, to make sure you're not posting spam. Once your first 3 articles have been approved with no problems you will be assumed to be a trusted member and your articles from then on will be approved automatcally. Remember to write unique and interesting articles, you are more likely to get more views if the content is popular. Once you are approved and deemed to be trustworthy, all Seekyt ask of you is that you don't post spam, and to follow the Google Adsense Content Rules, which can be found in the FAQ section under content guidelines.

Recently started writing for Seekyt. It's my understanding that they do have a referral process.

Everybody over at Seekyt is excited because of the new design - be sure to check it out! Admin announced new updates to content guidelines and he turned all external links on the site to nofollow links. This has been done in order to fight spammers and to minimalize the production of low-quality content on the site. Some people are worried about what this means regarding their backlinks on Seekyt, so here's a short explanation: backlinks to other sites won't have "link juice," that is, those links will lose SEO value in Seekyt's gain. This doesn't mean you won't get traffic anymore, quite the contrary, as your Seekyt web pages climb in the SERPs, the possibility of internet users visiting those links will increase because the presence of Seekyt articles (including those links) will expand, too.

The new 30 Days Challenge on Seekyt is announced for Feb 15 - Mar 15, 2012. I thought you might be interested to check it out :)
