Perfume Selling as a Side Business

I lost count of how many times I have heard people ask for a way to make extra money on the side while staying at home. There are a ton ways that I can think of, party planning alone comes by the hundreds BUT I have ONE GREAT idea that meets all if not most of the strict requirements one will have when choosing a suitable side business. How does selling designer or brand name perfume sound?

Direct selling designer / brand name perfume business is very feasible. To start simply, you have a network of friends and family who can be your initial customers. You do not need to have a capacity to accept credit card in the beginning, but if you must, you now have a wide array of credit card processors to choose from. Most charge minimal fees.

Selling designer / brand name designer perfume on the side gives you the flexibility of time most stay-at-home parents wanted. You can care for your child any time of day and still earn money on the side. There is no need to keep inventory in this line of business so it won’t take over any of your space at home. Most of all, it fits well within the tight budget of a stay-at-home parent.

Understanding the basics of supply and demand will come in handy. Although there is a long list of brand to choose from there could be a limited number in stock. And it may be a year round business but availability of items can be limited especially during major holidays like Valentine Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Christmas. During these seasons place your orders at least two to three weeks ahead to avoid the rush during the peak of the holidays.

Beware of cheap immitation perfumes in the market. You will think these perfumes are the real thing unless you put them alongside its authentic counterpart to compare. Most perfumes from China (I said most because not all are) have exactly same packaging as the authentic perufme but the scent tells its tale. AT FIRST they smell exactly the way they should then after FEW MINUTES ONLY the scent will be gone or scent will change to something I bet you would not appreciate. Be wise! and know your supplier well if you don't want na mapahiya sa mga clients mo.

Trusted wholesalers of designer / brand name perfume guarantee their authenticity. The perfumes are marked down so that it is the better option than that of the pricey perfumes at nearby malls or department stores. You can order in bulk, usually by the dozen at wholesale prices or per piece at a discounted price.

Finally, this could really be the best home-base business yet for you. An excellent side business that is sure to work you entrepreneurial drive. And my last words of encouragement, if it works for me it will work for you!

Which do you prefer: Eau De Toilette or Eau De Parfum?

Yes give this a go if you would like to get sued by the perfume houses.. It's illegal to do this unless you have permission from the perfume house to carry their product.. And you won't get it. You are not allowed to buy from david jones and re-sell. Louis Vuitton successfully sued ebay in 2009 which resulted in at home/on line perfume sellers being stamped out. Anyone who has genuinely researched this idea (and would like to stay on the right side of the law) knows it's not quite that simple.....
